Harold and the Purple Crayon is so simple but yet so deep. It helped me and still helps me to enjoy the simpler things in life. As an adult this book still makes my imagination grow and live!
Catcher and the Rye by J.D Salinger, is an amazing coming of age novel. It deals with the struggles of being on your own as a young adult and coming to grips with your own reality. The perspective of the main character is very relatable.
Chopped on Food Network is one of our favorites. We love predicting who will win or get chopped. My mom taught me how to cook so we always bond over this show.
