1. A comfortable lounge chair that instantly inflates when you spin it in the air (yes, really).

This is one of those products where I see the commercial and I'm like, "YEAH RIGHT!" These inflatable chairs just seem too easy. You just spin in a circle with them and suddenly you have a magically inflated chair? Seems unlikely. But now that I've tried them, I can confirm that they're (almost) that easy. It does take a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but pretty much anyone can figure it out in five to ten minutes. Basically, it comes with two compartments that you need to fill with air by twirling in a tight circle. You switch compartments while spinning and then quickly roll the it up before the air escapes. Once you master the technique, you're in squishy, inflatable heaven.

Seriously, these things are comfortable. Like being cradled in a waterbed taco. Everyone at the beach who tried them felt very relaxed and some people even took a little nap. It's also worth mentioning that they're pretty durable. Some of my friends took turns catapulting each other off it (we're adults) and they didn't burst. They fold up easily when you're done and each comes with a carrying case. If you're a frequent beach lounger, these things are key! —Bek O'Connell

2. A Harry Potter music box guaranteed to give you the same chills you get every time you hear that magical score start to play.

Dada, dada, daDAAAAAdadaaa dadadada, dada. I sincerely hope you just heard the iconic "Hedwig's Theme" from the HP movies in your head. If not, no worries, because this adorable mini music box does a way better job than I do at playing the magical tune. My mom (who is just as big of a Potterhead as I am) got me this gorgeous gift for Christmas and it always makes me smile. You just turn the little crank to hear that oh-so-evocative melody. I've heard many a diehard fan say that just the sound of those first few notes gets them emotional, and 100% same.

The box looks elegant displayed on my shelf when not in use (it has some of the series' most famous quotes and symbols etched into it), and I love picking it up whenever I'm in the mood to hear that familiar score that I associate with some of my fondest memories (midnight movie releases, anyone?). Also, I'm not musically talented at all, so this is about as close as I'll ever come to actually being able to play it. And even if I can't apparate to Hogwarts IRL (I memorized the three Ds for nothing!), the next best thing is to be transported there through music — a magic beyond all they do there. —Katy Herman

3. A mini Buddha Board so you can create temporary masterpieces using only water.

Behold: The Buddha Board in all its profoundly simple yet incredibly relaxing glory. This amazing little gem is worth every single penny. The Buddha Board allows you write and draw on its surface using water. That's right, WATER. You can write or draw anything from doodles to short, inspiring notes to random scribbles. After a few moments, the water on the board evaporates, leaving you with a fresh, clean slate. It's a great mindfulness and relaxation tool (not to mention wayyyy easier and tidier than a Zen garden), and it emphasizes the idea that everything is temporary. While learning Japanese, there was a brief time when I thought, "This would make an excellent tool for practicing my calligraphy!" That thought, too, was temporary (Just kidding! It's great for that! I even gave one as a gift to a friend to practice Arabic). Short story shorter, the Buddha Board is the most amazing, awesome, adorable (and that's only the As) thing to treat yourself to.

I love how sustainable and accessible this product is, from the fact that you write with water instead of ink to the way it reduces paper usage. It has a very simple and elegant design, and on top of that, it's portable! The writing surface is made of a long-lasting material that's held up well over time, and the water well and brush holder are super convenient. 4. Dual-compartment bags for your wet swimsuit to make every summer outing less of a hassle. Salt and sand in your tote bag? Beach, please.

The last time I went to the beach was more than two years ago, so when my friend invited me to go to Ocean Beach Park last weekend, I got a little overly excited and bought a bunch of beach-related stuff on Amazon. One of my favorite purchases (and the thing that came in handiest) was this pair of reusable waterproof bags to keep my sandy, wet swimsuit in. I'd always used plastic grocery bags before, but I wanted something a bit more attractive, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. There were a lot of options, but I went with these because they came as a two-pack, so I was able to give my friend one to use as well. They're made of a thin neoprene material that's lined with a layer of waterproof plastic on the inside so no water seeps through and contaminates the other things in your bag.

Each bag has two compartments, so you can fit two swimsuits inside and even use it to separate dry and wet swimsuits. There's also a little loop that allows you to clip it onto the side of a bag/trolley or wear it around your wrist (which is great for grabbing it and running into the changing rooms). Once I got home, all I did was remove the wet swimsuit and rinse out the inside of the bag, and it was ready to go again. For a more thorough cleaning, you could throw it in the washing machine, but I haven't needed to do that yet because any dirt or sand rinses right out. I could also see myself using this at the gym for dirty underwear. For about $4.50 each, I'm pretty darn happy with these bags! —Yi Yang

5. An OMG-worthy pet outfit for any furry (or hairless) friend who wants to try out the lumberjack look.

I'm under the impression that my cat Chuck is the handsomest man in the whole world (which is likely why I refer to him as "handsomest man" when I get home — a nickname for Chuck that my husband loves and is never jealous of). But I had no idea just how handsome he could be until I found this heckin' darling flannel outfit. Chucky is a Bambino cat, which makes finding clothes long enough for his torso and short enough for his legs tricky. But this fits perfectly! What I love about it is that the pants can be rolled up, and they actually stay rolled. Although the longer length is great for most pets, rolling up the pants makes it easier for Chuck to run around and it looks so darling that sometimes I'm worried I'll puke from cuteness.

This outfit is really easy to put on, which is great for kittos and pups who would rather play fetch than sit and stay. It's made of lightweight-but-sturdy material and it stays on no matter how much Chucky runs around. And have I mentioned it's the cutest thing this world has ever seen?? Because it sure is. 6. La Colombe Draft Latte, a marvelous mocha that even the most discerning caffeine connoisseurs will fall in love with.

My relationship with coffee is one part can’t-function-without-it, and another part it’s-just-tastes-so-good. But, in my long history with coffee, I’ve never been obsessed with a single drink as much as the La Colombe Draft Latte — I love all the flavors, but Mocha is 100% my fave (note: I never take my coffee black and I love chocolate, okay?). To my surprise, I found them stocked in the lil’ bodega across the street from my old apartment, so I became addicted. Why? A few reasons:

1) Idk why drinks in cans are so appealing, but they just are. And this one uses a fancy design with nitrous oxide to create an unbelievably silky texture — yesssss, microfoam!

2) There’s no added sugar, so while it’s sweet (just as a mocha should be), it’s not overbearingly so — for reference, I find those Starbucks Bottled Frappuccinos way, way too sweet.

3) It contains the equivalent of two and a quarter cups of espresso, which I desperately need all the time — I feel like blended drinks/lattes are often a little skimpy on the actual caffeine content, but these aren't.

4) It's the perfect portion size, and it's definitely a little cheaper than the lattes/mochas I normally get at Starbucks or any other local café (a guilty pleasure of mine that I try to be pretty good about), which is an improvement I'll take any day!

7. A clever storage shower curtain liner to set the best shower scene since Psycho (and one that's a heck of a lot less messy).

When I’m writing about home organization, there are lots of products I find and think, "one day I'll buy that!" This shower curtain liner with pockets has been at the top of my list for a while. (I’ve put it in stories, like here and here, to name a couple.) So I clicked "add to cart" as soon as I signed a lease on my new apartment. In my old place, I had a corner caddy (like this one) in the bathroom I shared with two roommates, which can hold A LOT of products but is also tough to clean around. This liner is perfect now that I’m living solo.

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, which seems expensive for a shower curtain liner but is totally worth the price. Its mesh pockets are incredibly sturdy and even *I* can fit all my shower stuff in there. (FYI, I often keep three or four body washes and conditioners each in the shower at all times.) There’s lots of reinforcement where each pocket meets the liner and at the top of the liner, so dropping a weighty bottle of shampoo in a pocket is NBD. Obviously, you want to try for even weight distribution between the pockets and toiletries, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. And these smooth-gliding hooks I also bought for my new digs make opening and closing my shower curtain as smooth as buttah. —Elizabeth Lilly

8. Veestro, an unbelievably easy and tasty vegan meal delivery service that'll make eating healthy one less source of stress in your life.

During Pride Month, I was the busiest gay that ever was. I had places to be, people to help, dance floors to attend to, posts to write, Pride March planning meetings to attend, and fellow gays to visit in North Carolina. I had negative time for food shopping and cooking. Normally in such situations, I would stress out even further and just eat french fries all week, but thankfully, the vegan meal delivery service Veestro was there for me. Ordering Veestro was easy, and I was glad I could specify food allergies and sensitivities prior to delivery, so I didn’t have to worry about eating things that would send my body further over the edge. Unpacking my Veestro box was a glorious moment. It included some lunch meals, dinner meals, and a few juices. The food was packed in dry ice and arrived perfectly frozen. Every single meal I ate was delicious, came with thorough directions, and was super easy to prepare. I brought the lunch meals into work and microwaved them and heated the dinner meals in a skillet at home. I usually eat an incredible amount of food, and I found these meals to be surprisingly filling.

My two fave meals were an enchilada bowl with tofu and vegan cheese, and a super rich red curry dinner dish. As much as I loved the curry, I couldn't even finish it all, which is a miracle because I usually have no portion control. The juices were cold-pressed and needed to be defrosted in the fridge the day before you drink them. I'm a big juice fan, and the immunity booster juice that Veestro makes is hands down the tastiest juice I have ever had in my life. It's made with very simple ingredients and it's the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with a little bit of spice from cayenne. I think about it all the time, and wish I had a lifetime supply.

Overall, I loved this service a lot. I enjoy cooking and making my own food, but having healthy, filling meals that were totally prepared and ready to go for a whole week was exactly what I needed. I was so busy that I didn’t even have time to eat all of the food, but it was helpful to have meals stacked in the freezer to come home to after my trip to NC. No wasted food! I’m glad I know about Veestro, as I will definitely use this service again in the far future when I'm recovering from top surgery, because cooking won't be possible for me. Not worrying about what’s for lunch or dinner is an experience everyone deserves to have, for whatever amount of time your budget allows. I'd recommend Veestro to anyone who has their own busy times coming up, or to anyone who wants to try going vegan for a while. —Harper Hendrickson

Written by my friend Heather Anne Hudgins, this book is the perfect introduction to the world of poetry. As someone who has always been extremely intimidated by the idea of poetry, I was a bit nervous to check out this book. But the honestly inspiring and delightful title sold me, not to mention that the book is my favorite shade of pink! A really great bedside or beachside read, this sweet collection of poems is a vulnerable look at the mind of a young 20-something queer woman navigating life, love, and breakfast. Plus, a $9.99 price tag is enough to make anyone mildly interested in poetry a believer! —Caelan Hughes

10. A coffin phone case that's perfect if you're dead inside but don't mind a blood bath of gushing compliments on your tech accessories.

I'm well established in my friend group as having a penchant for creepy stuff. Seriously, do not introduce me to your coworker at happy hour unless you want me to tell him about how Jim Jones sold pet monkeys door to door (really). Yeah, I did that. So when I put my beloved Chill Pills case (more on that) to rest when I upgraded my phone, I knew I wanted something morbid. Enter this adorable silicone coffin case!

Some might say a novelty silicone case is impractical, but it's quite easy to track down if you lose everything (me) and it bounces when it's dropped in case you're clumsy (also me). I have a screen protector (that I reviewed here) on my phone, but the lip of the case keeps that from even coming in contact with the floor when dropped! Now, I do have to poke my fingers inside the case to reach the buttons on the side of my phone, but it's a small price to pay. And the tiny antenna ripped off after getting snagged on my pocket about a hundred times, but to me that's NBD.

Since I swapped my case in December, strangers complimenting me on it has become a part of my daily life. It's quite noticeable and large (see it in my hand, though I have small-ish hands), but I adore a loud accessory. RIP, normal phone cases. —Elizabeth Lilly
