How Was Your 2015 According To Your Zodiac Sign?

This year found you committing to a serious, one-on-one relationship, possibly for the first time in a while, and probably with someone very different from past romantic interests. You've also recently finished a challenging, two-year career rut, and grown into a responsible person with leadership potential. The fall was all about communication and expression — hopefully you started a journal. If you haven't yet, it's not too late.

Romantic

While you're typically a more go-with-the-flow-type when it comes to planning, in 2015 you started addressing some of life's bigger questions head on. What type of work do you REALLY want to do? What types of people do you want to spend your time with? You experienced one of the luckiest romance cycles of your life, and used that time to solidify an existing relationship, or put yourself out there for a new one. Enjoy the more compassionate, more enlightened you that has emerged this past year.

Reflective

For the first eight months of the year you experienced a surge in interest in self-expression and all things creative. You probably experienced a summer romance — steamy, but short-lived. This was a year of upheaval for you, and you've probably had an epiphany (or two) in the process. After a challenging year, you'll be relieved to hear the end (and the New Year) will be grounded and calm.

Tumultuous

You started 2015 with great intentions and high hopes — you allowed yourself to love, to take risks, and to give yourself over to feelings (a rarity for stubborn, independent you). You had a romantic fall, either meeting someone new or solidifying (and electrifying) a longer-term relationship. This year you challenged yourself to break poor health habits, and while this is an ongoing project, you are more determined then ever to meet your goals in 2016.

Transformational

This year was all about learning to make your frenetic social butterfly energy work well with others — perhaps starting a relationship, joining a new group at the office, etc. You likely started a new job this year, and have dedicated time to establishing your ideal work/life balance. This was a year about reining in that Gemini spirit (just a little), settling in, and getting cozy.

Balancing

After a year or two of feeling stuck in a rut both creatively and romantically, this year was a big step up for you. You got yourself back out there, took care of your health and wellness, and likely saw a major (and exciting) career change. In short, you came into your own in 2015.

Rewarding

You've had a lucky, energetic year, for the most part, as Jupiter (the planet of luck and abundance) was in Leo through mid-August. You used this time to act as bon vivant, and may have even charmed your way into a new job, too. You may have had to curtail your spending a bit, and may have suffered a few romantic setbacks, but know that both of these are in service of finding a more sustainable, long-term plan for your own happiness.

Lucky

The first two-thirds of your year were about resting, relaxing, and finding closure. This was hard for you (you love to be on the go, working, getting things _done_), but it's a good lesson — sometimes things come easiest when you just let them happen, rather than forcing it. If this year struck you as "boring," or lonely, just remember that all of it was an important step toward your future.

Rejuvenating

This was a year about connecting with other people — widening your social circle, joining a cause or club, getting out of the house. This year taught you the importance of saying what you mean and sharing how you feel. This fall saw you take a definitive stance in a romantic relationship — either making it official, or deciding to move on. But overall, this year was about your own growth.

Vulnerable

After a rough-and-tumble couple of years, your 2015 saw a stronger, more self-assured you. That's not to say this year was easy — you likely went through a kind of identity crisis and may have been forced to eliminate unwanted pressures/people from your life. You had to cut back on spending and bad habits, and you've emerged a new, better you.

Strengthening

With Saturn in your sign this past year, you've been undergoing a process of tearing down and building back up — your identity, your appearance, your relationships, and so on. Starting in September, the Virgo solar eclipse set off a two-year cycle of professional change. You saw some shifts to your job, but there will only be more in the coming year.

Rebuilding

2015 saw you closing out a longer chapter in your life, whether it was moving to a new city, ending a relationship, or starting a new job. Hopefully, you took time to take care of yourself and set boundaries in the aftermath of this huge decision. Your sexy summer was lustful and dramatic — flings which were most likely unserious, but still helpful in teaching you what you want.
