What can I say, you're a classic person. There is no other time of the year where you are going to put this much effort into a meal, and the turkey is the star of the show. How could you not consider it your favorite? While you love all of the other fall flavors on the table, to you they simply just complement the bird.

You look forward to the stuffing on Thanksgiving almost as much as you look forward to your post-dinner nap. You're a bit of a traditionalist and are usually the one to spearhead everyone going around the table and saying what they are thankful for.

Every year, one of your family members inevitably makes the joke, "are you gonna have a little turkey with your potatoes?" Yes, yes you will, but there is one TRUE star dish of the day, and it's not the turkey.

While everyone is wrapped up in their mashed potatoes, you're sneaking the whole bowl of sweet potatoes. You simply cannot understand why this is one of the less-loved dishes on the table. It's like the rest of them don't even see that there are marshmallows over here.

In your opinion, green bean casserole is one of the most underrated dishes on the table. That's ok though — more for you! You don't mind helping prepare the meal, but you want to leave the big dogs (the turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie) to someone else. Truthfully, you'll be the only one who cares if the green bean casserole isn't absolutely sublime this year.

For you, Thanksgiving is filled with nostalgia. You never were a huge cranberry sauce fan, but as the years go on, you've learned to appreciate this staple and will argue with anyone who says that this year we could do without it. Not only does it add a splash of color to your plate, but it perfectly disrupts some of the blandness from the other foods on the table.

You honestly LOVE Thanksgiving (maybe even more than Halloween and Christmas). Having everyone you care about in one room is the highlight of your day, but a good slice of pecan pie doesn't hurt either! You don't even care if you didn't make it yourself.

You have a bit of a childish palate, but something about baked mac and cheese just tastes even better on Thanksgiving. You don't understand the effort that everyone seems to go to in getting alllllll of the food ready. You'd much rather keep things simple and fill the day with board games and watching parades.
