This Artist's Versions Of Disney Princesses Are Even Better Than The Real Thing

    Princess magic.

Disney characters are cool and all, but they're even better when you've seen them through the eyes of Philadelphia illustrator Isabelle Staub.

Staub, a 23-year-old graduate of Moore College of Art & Design, reimagines her favorite illustrated characters through a super-stylized lens.

Staub said she started drawing the characters after going through a creative block earlier this year.

"Ever since I was a child I've always been incredibly inspired by Disney," she continued. "I wanted to pay tribute to my love for these princesses by repainting them in my own style."

And she doesn't just do Disney princesses, either! Have you ever imagined what a grown-up Powerpuff Girl might look like? Here ya go!

Buttercup kind of reminds me of Kylie Jenner, no?

Staub's gorg drawings have garnered her more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.

That's some highlighter to DIE FOR.

Staub now makes her living as a full-time freelance illustrator and artist. Her advice to others trying to make it in the field?

"Keep going and keep creating. No matter how hard things get, it is possible to make art a career. Block out negative people who will try and steer you away from your true passion and purpose. There is no wrong or right way to make it in this field. Just keep putting yourself out there and keep trying."
