We need to talk about the #MannequinChallenge.

What is it? It's basically huge groups of people — often high school or college students — coming together and staging awesome freeze-frame scenes.

Here's one of a bunch of girls in the midst of a fight.

And a bunch of boys fighting.

Here's a bunch of students and teachers doing the challenge outside their school.

And this vid has a whole football team in on the action.

Will it last? Who knows? But it's definitely more interesting than planking.
