A Corgi Comforted A Grieving Man At The Airport In The Sweetest Way

    We honestly don't deserve dogs.

This perfect little angel is Cora the corgi.

She lives with her owner, Madison Palm, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and is training to be a therapy dog.

A couple of weeks ago, Cora and Madison were heading to Alaska to visit Madison's mom when they had a layover in Seattle.

That's when Cora went over to a stranger waiting at the airport and laid down next to him.

"Cora quietly tiptoed away from me during our crazy-long layover and plopped herself right next to a complete stranger," wrote Madison in a Facebook post. "He gave her scratches, told her how cute she was, and proceeded to take a photo of her." It turned out, she said, the man had just lost his own dog the night before and was grieving.

"I've never had a doubt that Cora can sense those who are hurting and those who need companionship and love," she continued.

"I believe Cora has the ability to feel sadness and empathy for people," Madison told BuzzFeed. "I think she can somehow sense who is experiencing depression, sadness, and loss. She aims to comfort people, it’s her favorite thing to do."

Cora, you really are a special lil' lady!
