Here's What's Happened To All The Past Winners Of "The Bachelor Australia"
Heartwarming success story, or majestic trash fire? There is no in-between.
Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich (The Bachelor Season 1)

After six years together, the OG Bachelor couple is still going strong. Engaged in 2017 and married in 2018, these two crazy kids are reminiscent of a simpler time in Bachie history — a time when contestants weren't just searching for their next teeth-whitening sponsorship.
Blake Garvey and Sam Frost (The Bachelor Season 2)

LOL, remember this shit-show? The Honey Badger may have walked away from The Bachelor empty-handed, but at least he didn't PROPOSE to a finalist and then later leave her for a runner-up.
Sam Frost went on to become the nation's sweetheart in the first Aussie season of The Bachelorette, while old mate Blake 'Love Rat' Garvey moved on with Louise Pillidge, who came third. It lasted about 18 months before they split too.
Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski (The Bachelor Season 3)

Honestly, these two are human perfection and my favourite Bachie success story! Sam met single mum Snezana in 2015, before choosing and presenting her with an ugly-ass promise ring in the finale (but hey, it's the thought that counts).
They got engaged ~FO REAL~ later the same year, welcomed a beautiful baby girl in 2017 and got hitched in 2018. If they ever break up, I will stop believing in love.
Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek (The Bachelorette Season 1)

I had so much hope for these two, but oh nooooo, they had to go ahead and burst into flames in a highly-public, gossip-fuelled breakup. Sam and Sash lasted just over a year, before ending things in December of 2016.
Rumours of cheating followed, along with countless passive aggressive swipes at each another on social media. RIP Sasham. You deserved a better ending.
Richie Strahan and Alex Nation (The Bachelor Season 4)

These two made me very uncomfortable from the start...I don't know if it was that unhygienic chocolate bathtub scene, or their OTT public disputes after leaving the show, but their breakup in August of 2017 felt long overdue.
Both Richie and Alex took another chance at romance (and fame) in last year's season of Bachelor In Paradise, but walked away loveless.
Georgia Love and Lee Elliott (The Bachelorette Season 2)

Now this is how you find love on air. Georgia chose Lee in the 2016 season of The Bachelorette and the two genetically-blessed Aussies have been lovestruck ever since. May their children inherent their intimidatingly perfect smiles.
Matty J and Laura Byrne (The Bachelor Season 5)

These two are all kinds of goals. After losing out to Lee in Georgia Love's season, Matty J went on to find his perfect gal in Laura Byrne. The two got engaged and welcomed their first-born this year and I seriously stan them!
Sophie Monk and Stu Landy (The Bachelorette Season 3)

This one hurt. I should have known better, there were so many warning signs, but I truly believed that Sophie and Stu would go the distance. Or at least make it to a quick marriage and a messy divorce.
Unfortunately, in January of 2018 — just three months after the finale had aired — Stuphie confirmed they had parted ways. I'm still in mourning.
Ali Oetjen and Taite Radley (The Bachelorette Season 4)

After failing to make it work on both The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise, Ali thought, "Why the hell don't I take a punt at love on yet another highly-public platform?" And so the least-watched season of The Bachelorette was born.
A year on, Ali and her banker boyfriend, Taite Radley, are still going strong. So I guess the third time really was the charm?
Nick Cummins and the cold, cold embrace of loneliness (The Bachelor Season 6)

The Honey Badger was publicly trashed after it was revealed that he had chosen neither finalist in last season's Bachie finale. But I'm just going to come out and say it: I AM HERE FOR NICK CHOOSING TO WALK AWAY FROM AN IMPERFECT MATCH.
You do you, Cummins. No one should have to settle for anything less than ~true love~.
TBC on the status of new Bachie Matt Agnew's love story, but here's hoping for a season full of sexy space exploits.

I, for one, am ready for Agnew adventure 😏.
