However, when it comes to our fast food, the one thing Americans can't seem to wrap their heads around is the fact that Aussies still worship at the altar of KFC.
Well, TikTok users are proclaiming to have discovered the reason why KFC — specifically, their chippies — are so much more loved by Aussies and it boils down to one powerhouse ingredient: Chicken salt.

And upon further investigation, I discovered this was a hot topic amongst both Aussies and tourists who had tasted the chicken salt difference.
Now, as a responsible, truth-seeking journalist, I thought the best course of action would be to simply duck down to my local KFC and reacquaint myself with the taste.
