Greta Gerwig's much-anticipated Barbie will be coming out in less than a week — I will be seeing you all in theaters July 21 — and its press tour was just the cherry on top of what has been a HIGHLY renowned marketing campaign.

But no one has been slaying the quite as hard as Barbieland's sweetheart, Ryan Gosling himself. Here are 12 Ryan moments from the press tour that prove he really is our One and Only Ken:
1. When he did this interview with Entertainment Tonight. Probably the first time I ever cared about Ken.
2. When he wore his partner's initial — "E" for Eva Mendes — in Barbie font on a necklace pendant at the Barbie world premiere in LA 🥲:
4. When he went on The Tonight Show and set the record straight about people who randomly came out of the woodwork to "defend" Ken...
...because he knows that nobody thinks about Ken. C'mon. This is a Barbie world.
5. When he brought his sister Mandi to the pink carpet in Toronto:

8. When he talked about his experience facing the way that little girls really treat their Kens vs. their Barbies:

...and how he had to ask for that younger self's help while filming Barbie's famous disco dance scene. (We always knew you could do it, Ryan.)
11. And finally, when he did a Puppy Interview with BuzzFeed Celeb and likened playing Ken to popping open a can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls.
The actual plot of this film remains a mystery, but no matter what, I knowwww I will be dying over Ryan and Margot's performances.
I haven't even seen the movie yet — but I know that if they don't both get Oscar noms, the world is a darker place than I thought.
