Episode One: "With Liberty and McAvoy For All"

Episode Description: Will goes apoplectic when an ex-girlfriend who voted for Ross Perot pokes him on Facebook. During a broadcast, Maggie accidentally replaces the audio from a News Night package about school safety with the audio from a rerun of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Sloan rents "E.T." and doesn't understand what "all the hullabaloo" is about. Gary confesses to Neal that making small talk with Maggie was the single worst thing that happened to him on their trip to Africa. News Night solves America's education deficit.

Episode Two: "You Say Potato I Say McAvoy"

Episode Description: Neal discovers Bigfoot and brings the surprisingly affable creature with him to the ACN office, but Will refuses to run with the story until Neal finds another source. Elliot Hirsch and The Capital Report's Terry Smith treat themselves to an exceptionally delectable lunch to celebrate their ten year "friendaversary." Don briefly doubts his legitimacy as a real news man, but quickly regains his swagger after a flawlessly executed twenty-first amendment joke and a mid-afternoon protein shake. Jim and Maggie unprofessionally scream at each other about non-work related issues despite the fact that they're in a professional environment surrounded by socially adept colleagues attempting to work. News Night solves racism.

Episode Three: "You Don't Tug on McAvoy's Cape"

Episode Description: In a perilous attempt to civilize America, News Night preempts the news so Will can read James Joyce's "Ulysses" to teach the viewing public a much needed lesson regarding compassion. Charlie gets drunk and breaks a hard truth to Neal: he will never truly be a "real newsman." Sloan dates a member of the Brooklyn Nets which leads Don to create a heartfelt mix-tape and then verbally abuse an intern who calls him Dan. MacKenzie attempts to download Words With Friends, which results in a city wide power outage. Despite fervent objections from the staff, Jim and Maggie attempt to binge watch Entourage together. News Night is granted sainthood.

Episode Four: "Freedom's Just Another Word For Nothing Left To McAvoy"

Episode Description: Will is outraged when he learns that "National Will McAvoy Month" will be celebrated in February. Charlie attempts to restore Neal's confidence by regaling him with an inspirational parable about his co-ed high school boxcar racing team, "The Flirty Martinis." Instead of booking House of Representative Member John Lewis as a guest, Maggie accidentally books famous '80s singer Huey Lewis to chat about health care reform. Leona purchases a life-size cardboard cutout of Daniel Craig to "spruce up" her office. News Night announces that the internet is canceled until further notice.

Episode Five: "In McAvoy We Trust"

Episode Description: Will hires the popular '80s band Chicago and rents out the Time Square Dave and Busters to ask an Amazon.com reviewer to take down her negative two star review of "Don Quixote." MacKenzie asks Will to explain basketball, the plot of Guys and Dolls, and the lyrics to The Cure's "Friday I'm In Love," to her and then slips on a banana peel. Neal believes he may have inadvertently stumbled upon the formula for time travel. Jim throws a sparsely attended Burn Notice viewing party. Due to its cultural significance News Night is named a sovereign state.
