What was your favorite part about filming the Maze Runner movies?

Dylan: My favorite part about filming the Maze Runner movies was the family that was made on set. We all really had an amazing time making these movies and they're constantly fun and they're constantly a joy to do, which is super rare.

If you had to choose one character from Maze Runner: The Death Cure to be your best friend, who would it be?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: If I had to pick a character, I'd say Chuck because he's like a dog —

he's man's best friend! Just like these dogs are MY best friends.

You’re real-life BFFs with your former Teen Wolf costar Tyler Posey. What was your favorite on-set moment with Tyler?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Any time on set with Tyler was the best. Teen Wolf was like a second home to me and Tyler's like a brother.

What are you most excited for Maze Runner fans to see in this final installment of the series?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: The puppies! I'm kidding, there are no puppies in this movie! This last movie answers all the questions that fans and people who've seen the first two may have. It's finally all gonna be wrapped up and you're finally gonna be not confused anymore.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: If I were to give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to not be so shy. Lean into nerves, especially if it involves something you know you genuinely enjoy. Don't let fear or any kind of nerves or shyness keep you away from doing that — because it almost kept me away from acting.

What's your favorite dog breed?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Cocker Spaniel, because that was my dog growing up.

If you could costar in a future project with any actor, who would it be and why?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Tyler Posey again! Or any one of my Teen Wolf castmates or any one of my Maze Runner castmates. One of the biggest parts of those things ending is realizing you don't know when you're gonna work with these guys again. I'd jump at the chance to, always.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Stay grounded and just be you always. Just value your roots and your friends. I guess it's easy to get caught up in the industry if you're a young actor — but know what's important.

Before you were famous, you made videos on YouTube. What was your favorite video that you made back then?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: None of them! ... The first video I ever posted to my channel was this little music video that me and my best friends from New Jersey made. That was how I started my channel because then my friend was like, "You should put this on YouTube." And I was like, "What's YouTube?" Then, I just made an account, put that video up there, and that became my YouTube channel!

Even though Teen Wolf is over, do you think Stiles and Lydia will still end up getting married?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Yeah! They're destined to be together.

How often do you see and hang out with your former Teen Wolf costars?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: You know, not as often as we'd like! I think it's tough when you're trying to see people you know in the industry — everyone's always away or traveling. It's rare to be in the same place at the one time. Given all that, I'd say I see them pretty often! I see Tyler all the time.

Would you ever consider acting in a musical?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: Yeah, I'd love to be in a musical! I don't think I'd ever be allowed to be in one because I can't sing!

If you weren’t an actor, what career could you see yourself doing?

BuzzFeed

Dylan: I'd work with little puppies...
