1. A reversible shag and sherpa throw blanket they will want to live inside of until spring.

Amazon

Promising review: "I bought the grey fur blanket and, HOLY SMOKES, this is the most comfortable blanket I think I’ve ever bought. It was meant to be decor and not really used, but I can’t keep it off of me, it’s so soft. I was very surprised by how good of quality it seems, especially for the price. Big enough to cover two people up easily. I’d compare the feeling of the faux fur to something like bunny’s fur, and the sherpa is very soft as well. It has some decent weight to it and I’ve found it to be very warm so far. All in all, good for the money." —Kaylee Morris

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in four sizes and 40 colors).

2. A wearable blanket so they can stay cozy at all times. It even has sleeves so they can work on their laptop without exposing their arms to to the cold, unforgiving air.

Promising review: "I LOVE this thing. It allows you to literally wrap yourself in a blanket, but still be able to use your hands, without your poor arm suffering in the cold breeze. I wear this while working from home, watching Netflix, and while taking naps. It's so comfy that there have been times I don't want to take it off when I have to run to the store — the only reason I do is because I don't want it to get dirty. I can't imagine one person that wouldn't be happy to receive this wonderful bundle of coziness." —Kayla Boyd, BuzzFeed Staff

Promising review: "I am OBSESSED with this. I had bought an off brand first (a mistake) and it came with holes, while this one arrived in pristine condition. I wear it all the time at home and it solves the age-old "warm under the covers, but I need my arms out to read/control iPad/etc." It can technically be worn with just underwear on the bottom so if you're a big T-shirt kind of sleeper, this is also perfect. I just wish I didn't have to take it off to leave my house — I'm avoiding the grocery store right now because I'm so comfy!" —Alicia

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in 13 colors and four sizes).

We love this so much we will likely get another for our downstairs fireplace! The crackling noise is realistic and you can control the volume output. Very happy with this purchase. I wish it was a little lower in price but we feel it was worth it." —Momof2

Promising review: "I absolutely love this heated seat for my vehicle! Cold winters with leather seats are not a great combination and this soft seat heats up within two minutes of plugging in and stays warm. I am a naturally cold person who usually cannot get enough heat, but this gets almost too warm where I can shut it off before my 30-minute drive to and from work is over. I love it for my lower back pain as well. I will use this seven months out of the year for sure! Excellent product!" —Stevie

6. *THE* Amazon Coat, a stylish, oversized parka that reviewers cannot stop raving about because of its truly incredible warmth, comfort, sherpa-lined hood, and impressive amount of pockets.

BuzzFeed / Maitland Quitmeyer

Promising review: "I have spent a couple of years in the city without a 'real" puffy coat — I usually buy (warm!) fashionable coats and just hide in a Columbia cold-weather rain jacket if the weather gets really bad. But I've wanted this Orolay down coat (often called THE Amazon coat) for a while so when it went 30% off on Prime Day, I snagged the chance to get it. It's weirdly fashionable (like...a lot of people in New York own this jacket) and WOW it's incredibly warm. While it doesn't get *that* that cold in New York City (teens and 20s is about how cold it gets, barring a polar vortex — which isn't bad to someone who lived in Minnesota for five years) — we New Yorkers spend a LOT of time outside in the winter. When you walk to the train, wait on the freezing platform, walk to the grocery store etc. it's more time than usual out in the cold — and let me tell you the wind through the buildings and chill off the concrete can be BRUTAL. I love to walk about four miles home from work when I have the time — even in the winter — and I know this will keep me cozy every step of the way.

This coat HAS IT ALL! It's puffy and super-insulated but not *giant* and covers the butt (very key when you're wearing thin leggings on the bottom all winter — the wind goes right through 'em). The VERY generously sized hood has a sherpa lining for extra toastiness. I very rarely, if ever, find jackets with hoods that actually go all the way over my head (and hair) to shelter my face from the elements, so that's a HUGE PLUS for me. It has tons and tons of pockets — zipper pockets to stash stuff in so you don't need a purse, plus size open pockets to keep your hands toasty on a walk. And it's just really darn cute! I love the green color and the grosgrain zipper pulls to add a little extra chicness.

I wanted an oversized look, so for reference, I wear a size 2 in most things and I got the small. To me, it's perfect! I've taken it for a spin on unusually cold November days (windchill in the teens), on post-snow mornings, and I know it's going to keep me super warm, no matter how the freezing New York winds blow." —Maitland Quitmeyer, BuzzFeed Staff

Get it from Amazon for $149.99+ (available in sizes XXS–5X and nine colors).

7. A fuzzy throw blanket that is so cozy, it has over 4,300 5-star Amazon reviews and is dog-approved.

Amazon, amazon.com

This blanket is machine-washable, luxurious, and hypoallergenic. Available in a variety of sizes and colors!

Promising review: "This blanket goes above and beyond the average blanket. If you've ever dreamed of sleeping in the pelts of 50 rabbits but don't want the guilt of all those rabbit lives, this is your blanket. It's light but warm, not too warm, just warm enough. The cats LOOKED at it and ran to the bed. Before I finished laying it out they started climbing on it like OKAY guys calm down! And it's huge so you can really bundle yourself up or add an extra person comfortably. This blanket just seems sexy and luxurious. I don't really know. It's magical, and it's changed my quality of life for the better." —Emma Stanley

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in four sizes and 20 colors).

8. A weighted blanket to make them feel like they're wrapped up in a big cozy hug, and even help reduce anxiety, stress, and insomnia.

Amazon

This one's available in ten different sizes and weights and a variety of colors!

Promising review: "I absolutely cannot recommend or love this enough!! The first night I used it I slept 10 hours and felt like a new person the next day. Now I can’t sleep without this thing. It took a week or so to get use to it, but now I hardly notice the weight when I’m moving positions in bed. Please note, I’m typically cold-natured, and feel this blanket keeps me very warm, which I love, but if you run hot, you may just want to use this and a flat sheet to keep from getting too warm. No leaking of beads that I’ve noticed so far and I’ve been using this for a couple months. The cotton fabric it’s made with is the only con to this item I feel. I have pets with long, fine hair and this thing grabs hold of EVERY piece of fur, dust or fuzz so I HIGHLY recommend a duvet cover of sorts. I bought my own fabric to make one which I think will make me even more in love with this blanket. GET YOURSELF A WEIGHTED BLANKET KIDS! You deserve it!!" —DeAnn Barksdale

Get it from Amazon for $48.90+.

9. A pair of opaque fleece-lined tights that somehow manage to be super warm without being bulky.

Amazon

Promising review: "I do not know how I managed to live 39 years before discovering fleece-lined tights. I purchased a pair of black and navy to take home to Wisconsin for the holidays. They are incredible. The fleece is beyond soft and it doesn't add any bulk to the tights (which I was concerned about). I was able to wear dresses in 20 degree weather without my legs turning into icicles, and they really helped keep my feet warm as well. I'm 5'6" 125 pounds and the small size fit perfectly. I haven't washed them yet but I am confident that they will continue to wear beautifully." —Blondie, Esq.

I have worn this beanie, a hoodie, and sweats outside and was still warm which makes sense since most of the heat comes from the head, and best of all, it fits my big head and my thick hair which is a nightmare to find beanies for my head that fit or even look right...now the struggle is OVER❗️(I brought this beanie in the color tarmac, very cute neutral stripe hat that goes with most things)." —t.

amazon.com

Promising review: "SORCERY!!! What a difference this has already made! Using an infrared thermometer, the temperature inside went from the mid-50s to 66.7 within minutes of installation. The furnace was always set to the high-60s until we installed the film. Now it's set at 63 degrees, and the furnace is blowing less frequently and for shorter periods of time. Another bonus to this product: the road noise from outside now sounds muffled, so less noticeable/annoying. That's HUGE. And as a side note, the one I bought was, in fact, crystal clear." —Public name

amazon.com

Promising review: "I cannot handle how sturdy and steadfast this powerful little heater is. It easily warms my little apartment, does not overheat, and is cute and little. I would not call it quiet, however, as it does produce a pretty loud fan sound — however, I actually find it soothing." —J Fu

Get it from Amazon for $28.99 (available in two colors).

17. A pair of thick *sherpa*-lined sweatpant joggers in case they wanna look like they're wearing pants while secretly feeling like they're wrapped up in a super cozy blanket.

Promising review: "I've never worn pants that make me as happy as these do. I feel like I'm being enveloped in a cloud. I sized up (good idea), due to other reviews. They're perfect for cold winter days, being warm and toasty when you and hubs disagree on what the thermostat should read, and getting a hug from your clothing when you're exhausted after a day of work/your kids running you ragged, or both. I'm also sensitive to non-breathable clothes, particularly at night, but these haven't made me feel too hot so far." —Torrey Baldwin

Get them from Amazon for $26.99+ (available in sizes XS–XXL and five colors, plus three colors without the sherpa lining).

Promising review: "My fuzzy crocs are every bit as amazing as I expected. They're EXTREMELY warm, so make sure it's really cold enough for them if you're wearing them out of the house. They fit exactly the same as my non-lined crocs of the same size." —Chloe
