Well, I’d still prefer that ENDA was passed first, so there were national anti-discrimination protections. But even if nothing passes, it is at least a first that the Chief Executive is talking about it and advocating FOR it…whether opposing DOMA, endorsing marriage equality and now immigration equity, it is new territory and material for a legacy no other president ever touched.
