Every parenting rule can't be reasonable.

We love and appreciate them, but let's be honest... when you're a kid, there are times you think your parents are doing the absolute most. From their rules to the consequences if those rules are broken, sometimes parents can act as overprotective as Bobby Boucher's momma in Waterboy.

Reasonable or overprotective, we like to believe our parents' rules come from a place of love and care for our well-being. I know when I become a parent my primary objective will be keeping my child safe and just like me and you, I'm sure they will find some of my rules to be overprotective.
