Here’s a weird one. Ever since I was a little kid my dad always told me that when I was having trouble sleeping I should relax as best as possible and then tell each individual body part to go to sleep 5 times from my toes to my head. I.e.: go to sleep toes x5, go to sleep heels x5, go to sleep feet x5, go to sleep ankles x5, etc. by the time I get to my hair I’m passed out and I don’t even remember where I left off the next morning. It’s silly, but it works for me.
