When you were growing up, other kids' parents let them eat the fun cereals.
Like Lucky Charms.
And CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH.
Dessert masquerading as breakfast!
ANYTHING CHOCOLATE-Y. ANYTHING.
But not you. Your parents wouldn't let you have "refined sugar" or "empty calories."
Instead, you got to eat Grape-Nuts!
And plain Cheerios!!
You could have as much Raisin Bran as you wanted!
You had your pick of anything at the health food store.
Maaaaaybe you were allowed to have Kix.
Or the occasional box of Frosted Mini-Wheats. (Whole grains!)
But Corn Pops...
... those awesome movie-themed cereals...
...and everything truly delicious — and cavity-causing — had to remain but a dream.
But that just makes the freedom of adulthood that much better!
