Divasleading Inc.’s mission is to make bullying unacceptable for everyone; EVERYWHERE! Divasleding Inc. is hosting an anti-bullying awareness family event on October 4, 2014. Our hope is to educate the community bring awareness about the seriousness of bullying and let children and teens know that there is help available. Our goal is to capture the attention of as many school aged children as possible, so many of them face bullying that we need to capture their attention. By educating our community we can get to the root of the issue and make a difference empowering the youth, their families and our future. The dual objective is raising awareness and empowerment. WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION!What is bullying? Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically, verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
