Gordon Ramsay Thinks Tacos Are Sandwiches, And I Literally Cannot

I don't even know where to start.

On July 28, 2015, Gordon Ramsay made a perplexing statement that forever changed the culinary landscape*.

In an interview with Bon Appétit, when asked, "Is a taco a sandwich?", Gordon gave the following answer to this age-old (and divisive) question:

Now, I'm not calling Gordon a liar, but in the same interview he also said that a hot dog *is* a sandwich — but a hamburger is "definitely not."

I would also like to point out that in a poll posted that same year on BuzzFeed dot com the website, the world came together in harmony and unanimously voted that a taco is NOT a sandwich.

Now, we all know that he likes to call idiots sandwiches, but a taco? This just seems wrong...
