It's a sad day, Bachelor Nation. After finding love on Season 20 of The Bachelor in 2016, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have officially announced that they've broken up.
The pair gave an exclusive statement to People confirming the news:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways. We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.
In happier times, the pair had a beautiful final rose moment that made even the biggest cynics believe in happy endings.
After the show, they went on to share their love with the world on the Freeform series Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? and they recently hosted Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings special together.
