What Will Happen Next On "Game Of Thrones"? Here's What The Trailer Reveals

I am so ready for the second half of the season. Contains spoilers for Season 8, Episode 3 obviously.

The Battle of Winterfell is OVER. The Night King is dead. So now what? Well, if the trailer for next week's Game of Thrones is anything to go by: CERSEI LANNISTER.

The trailer opens with Cersei smugly surveying what is presumably the Golden Company.

She's changed out of her black mourning garb and is back in Lannister red. She seems to be feeling happier and more confident than before.

At Winterfell, Sansa surveys the rebuilding progress and watches the Unsullied filing out.

The survivors of the battle (Sansa, Arya, Gendry, and what looks like Sam in this shot) watch something — probably all the bodies being burned.

Jon watches too, with a patented Sad Boi expression.

Meanwhile, Dany gets everyone ready to fight Cersei, saying, "We have won the Great War. Now we will win the last war."

She raises a glass to toast...

And for the first time since she arrived in Westeros, people are actually happy to be in the same room as her.

Meanwhile, Dany looks ready to go on another dragon ride.

There's a shot of everyone lighting up the bodies of the dead.

We see Dany in Targaryen red looking worried.

Euron seems ready to marry Cersei again.

Sansa watches as both dragons (THEY ALSO MADE IT OMG!!!) fly off.

Presumably it's Jon and Dany going for another joyride, because Sansa looks very unhappy.

We later see Jon riding out of Winterfell with Ser Davos. It seems likely Jon's honoring his pledge to fight for Dany now the Great War is over.

The Targaryen fleet is headed to what is surely King's Landing.

There's a shot of Dany and Drogon looking up at something – I'm guessing Jon on Rhaegal again.

And the last shot of the trailer is Cersei watching something — maybe Dany's fleet arriving?

It seems like the rest of Season 8 really will be about who sits on the Iron Throne. The White Walkers were the big fake-out, rather than the other way around. What a twist.
