Well guys. We finally got to see the Tower of Joy. But do you know what we DIDN'T GET? R+L=J.
That's right. After teasing the scene and getting everyone's hopes up that we'd finally get confirmation that Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, Game of Thrones totally cut us off just when things were getting good.
We, along with Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven, watched as Ned Stark and Howland Reed battled and killed Ser Arthur Dayne and the two other kingsguard knights standing between them and Ned's sister Lyanna in the tower...
We heard Lyanna scream and Ned rush up the steps toward her. We saw Bran MAYBE communicating to Ned in the past (which doesn't seem like it can end well).
AND THEN WE SAW THE BLOODY THREE-EYED FUCKING RAVEN BLOCK BRAN (AND US) FROM SEEING ANY MORE.
Unsurprisingly, people were pissed...
