Which Aussie TV Show Is Actually The Longest Running?

_Play School_ celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, but there is one other show that has lasted longer.

The second longest

At 30 years old, _7.30_ doesn't even make the top ten.

_Neighbours_ has been on our screens for 31 years.

The eighth longest

Although sadly not on air anymore, _Here's Humphrey_ lasted for 44 years, from 1965-2008.

You nailed it! Starting in 1961 and still airing 55 years later, _Four Corners_ is the oldest show on Aussie TV.

Although it was off air between 2003 and 2005, BtN is still one of the longest-running shows in Aussie TV history, with a total of 46 years to date.

The 12th longest

_Mass For You At Home_ has been on air for 45 years.

The fourth longest

The ninth longest

_Mr Squiggle_ ended in 1999, but before that it was on Australian screens for 41 years, since 1959.

The sixth longest

_60 Minutes_ has been on air for 37 years.
