People Are Freaking Out About Arya On "Game Of Thrones" But It'll Be OK

    It better be OK. Warning: spoilers.

    The last we saw of Arya Stark in this week's episode, she had been viciously stabbed by the Waif...

    (ARYA, YOU KNOW SHE IS AFTER YOU AND CAN ASSUME THE FACE OF LITERALLY ANYONE. What were you doing smiling at that kind old lady? Arya. No.)

    ...And was wandering the streets of Braavos, bleeding heavily.

    Naturally, many fans are freaking out.

    Especially after she finally embraced her Stark-ness again and was looking towards Westeros.

    Except it wasn't too bad, because in the preview for Episode 8, it looks like Arya is OK.

    Well, she's still on the run from the Waif, so it's relative. But could someone who is fatally wounded make that jump?! (No. The answer is no.)

    There's also the fact that the leaked description for the episode says "Arya is not alone."

    It's unconfirmed, but if it's true, it suggests not only that she will survive, but also that she will find an ally. It could be Syrio Forel, her old "dancing" master and the former first sword of Braavos, who sacrificed himself so that Arya could get away way back in Season 1. He was killed by Meryn Trant, who Arya in turn killed in Season 5. Except we never actually saw his death – maybe, like the Hound, her survived, and will meet up with Arya in Braavos.

    Or maybe old mate Jaqen H'ghar will come through for Arya.

    As some on Reddit have theorised, perhaps the Waif is the one who truly failed her test – as she is clearly driven by hatred. Or maybe, if Arya fights and kills the Waif, she is still appeasing the Many-Faced God and will be back in Jaqen's good graces in that way.

    Maybe both options will be right – and Syrio and Jaqen will turn out to be one and the same.

    Some fans have held this theory for awhile – speculating that Syrio was not actually killed but arrested by Meryn Trant, and changed his face to become the Jaqen that Arya encounters and saves in the cage on the King's Road.

    Another option for Arya's ally could be Lady Crane – she did, after all, spare her life.

    Or it could be a more familiar face – Theon Greyjoy is in Volantis right now, and was mentioned by the men Arya gives money to in this episode.

    Maybe he'll run into Arya in Essos? Helping her could be part of his redemption. Although the Greyjoys look pretty set on heading to Meereen to meet up with Daenerys, so unless Arya tags along for that ride – or just has a brief encounter with Theon – this scenario doesn't seem as likely.

    OR MAYBE GENDRY WILL ROW HIS BOAT INTO BRAAVOS AND SAVE ARYA AND LITERALLY ALL OF US ALONG WITH HER.
