More fruit is always a good idea.
1. Cut your mango halves into a grid, then flip inside.

It's a much easier and less messy way to eat it, without having to peel it first and getting juice everywhere.
2. But if you do need to peel it, use a glass.
3. Store your avocados in a plastic bag in the fridge with red onion, it'll stop them going brown.

4. Or is your rock-hard avo taking too long to ripen? Whack it in a paper bag with a banana and apple to speed up the process.
5. If you want a sliced apple for the road, cut it up then put the pieces back together and secure with a rubber band.

6. Or eat them whole from the top-down. You'll get a lot more fruit this way, as the only part of the core you can't eat is at the bottom.

7. Use a straw to get the tops off your strawberries.

Even better: get some reusable straws so you're not hurting the environment.
8. Put salt on watermelon to really bring out the sweetness.
9. And do the same thing with salt and chilli powder on pineapple.

10. Wrap the tops of your bananas in plastic wrap to slow down their ripening process.
11. And peel them "upside down" by pinching the tip – it's easier and it'll get rid of the gross little bit at the end.
12. Cut a pomegranate into quarters and eat the seeds out like you're eating an orange segment.

13. Chop off the top and bottom of a mandarin or orange, then unroll it for a much easier way to eat.
