There's nothing worse than going on holiday and being absolutely surrounded by people. They get in the back of your photos, and there are always drunk Australians around ruining the serenity. So here's a list of places which have been getting increasingly good reviews on TripAdvisor, and will probably be the ~New Cool Places~ to visit.

1. Jodhpur, India

This city in the northwest of the country is filled with ancient forts and palaces that are a history-lover's dream. Many of the city's buildings are painted the same shade of blue. It was once a sign of social class, but now just makes for an insanely beautiful photo.

2. El Nido, Philippines

El Nido is home to Nacpan Beach, which is often voted as one of Asia's best beaches. A trip here will be a relatively tourist-less experience, especially compared to other coastal south Asian destinations.

Though it's a highly subjective category, Jericoacoara (pronounced jerry-kwa-kwara) is known for having one of the best beaches in the world. It's pretty remote, meaning you can often get whole stretches of beach to yourself. The sunsets there are also topnotch.

Eilat is situated on the shores of the Red Sea and is perfect for everyone who's looking for an adventure-packed holiday. Its close proximity to the desert, national parks, and beaches will make sure that you're never stuck with nothing to do. The weather is also A+.

The weather is cooler than the rest of the country, making it the perfect retreat from other bustling cities.

The capital of Georgia has a beautiful Old Town, which is all cobblestone streets and historic buildings just waiting to be explored. The food there is so damn good, and travellers have called it the most striking and original city they've visited.

Whistler is only about an hour outside of Vancouver, and has some of the best skiing in the country. The town itself is small and charming and, of course, filled with bars to recharge after a day of alpine activities. The fun doesn't stop in summer, with hiking, biking, and gondola rides on offer.
