Kombucha and ice cream, name a more iconic duo.
(But seriously, kombucha is delicious and pretty good for your gut health.)
Yep, there's a Sydney cafe, Frankie's, bottling up the delicious combo of cold brew and kombucha. I gotta say, it's actually really yum...to the point where I had to physically stop myself cracking open a second bottle as soon as I finished the first.
It really is the best of both worlds. Some bars around the world have started introducing kombucha to their cocktail list and people are not mad about it. Or you can just DIY it at home. From personal experience I can say that kombucha and gin go really well together, as do a strawberry booch with red wine. Don't knock it 'til you try it.
Boost Juice is now adding kombucha to some of their smoothies and juices and I just gotta say that a watermelon lychee booch juice sounds INCREDIBLE.
NY-based The Better Pop is serving up these popsicles which sound like a brilliant summer treat. You could also make your own by blending up fruit or juice with kombucha and freezing it.
Probably known to non-Australians as a ~kombucha float~, this is basically just your fave ice cream topped up with some fresh kombucha. You can find it in a number of places if you know where to look, like this place in Atlanta, this one in San Diego or just make your own.
This bakery in Chicago seems to be incorporating it into a bunch of different types of cupcakes. There's probably not enough in there to benefit you in anyway but it certainly sounds like it could be delicious!
And I for one can't wait.
