Wendy Chen is an illustrator based in Seattle who was recently featured on BuzzFeed for her hilarious and relatable farting guide.
Chen's illustrations are all part of a series called Messy Cow where she illustrates the ups and downs of everyday life. In a new series she chose to capture the expectations vs. reality of buying clothes and then actually wearing them.
She told BuzzFeed she got inspiration from her personal life. "I bought a crop top on sale thinking 'It's cute, I might be able to handle it' and I was shocked at how bad it looked on me. It was comical. I thought it was good material for comics, at least then the money wasn't completely wasted."
