And honestly, their ability to cross the boundaries of language and act as a universal language the whole world can understand is pretty magical.

But there's one thing that's always been a problem: Where the fuck is the Welsh flag emoji?

Whenever someone from Wales wants to display their national pride, they have to do it like this:

"*insert Welsh flag emoji here*" – An entire nation, weeping.

And yes, an ant-sized circular flag pops up on Twitter when you use the hashtag #WAL, but that's not the same.

I want to tweet 140 real Welsh flags. Whenever and wherever I damn well want to.

We're often left using this thing (🐲 ) and it looks NOTHING like a Welsh dragon.
