Love them or hate them, emojis are now a part of our vocabulary.
But there's one thing that's always been a problem: Where the fuck is the Welsh flag emoji?
Whenever someone from Wales wants to display their national pride, they have to do it like this:
And yes, an ant-sized circular flag pops up on Twitter when you use the hashtag #WAL, but that's not the same.
We're often left using this thing (🐲 ) and it looks NOTHING like a Welsh dragon.
THIS is a fucking dragon:
THERE'S EVEN AN ISLE OF MAN EMOJI.
I get it, Wales isn't an ~independent country~, we have the Union Jack blah blah blah.
Sure, you can download a Welsh emoji app, but that's not official. Hell, you can download emojis of Drake's dad ffs.
Let's not allow our children to grow up in a world without a graphic symbol that allows them to display patriotic pride.
