Justin Bieber got it handed to him by everyone from Snoop Dogg to Martha Stewart at his Comedy Central roast, which aired on Monday.

After Bieber's roast aired, some critics pointed out the two-hour special served as an opportunity for the pop star to clear his name.

That's something that comedian Hannibal Buress also joked about in his brutally honest set during the roast...

But apparently, the joke (which circulated online when the roast filmed on March 14) was too real and wound up not making it to air, as Buress noted on Twitter.
This one got cut from #BieberRoast. I get it.
"Actually, you should thank me for participating in this extremely transparent attempt to be more likable in the public eye," Buress tweeted, quoting the bit that wasn't in the broadcast. "And I hope it doesn't work."

Comedy Central did not immediately reply to BuzzFeed News' request asking why the joke was cut.
