5 Cliches We Should Actually Live By

You've heard it so many times, you don't even think twice about it. Don't skim over these, actually take them to heart.

1. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

This doesn't even need an explanation

2. "A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link"

This is mostly used for teamwork ethic, but it can also be used for personal examination. We all have that one thing that sets us off, if we can't keep it under control, it will tear us apart.

3. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Let's face it, nobody actually believes this. Some people everyone will find unattractive, let's not miss the point though. People should not be defined by their beauty, ugly people will always be ugly people; what makes them beautiful is when they shine brighter than what you see on the surface

4. "Actions speak louder than words"

Unless of course you take action through encouraging words. I'm a love language kind of person so the best way to show someone you care is finding out what means the most to them. Sometimes words are enough, other times, not so much.
