"Another one fights the dust." —probably Freddie Mercury and definitely you.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. 1. A wood polish and conditioner to enhance the natural beauty in all of your wood by feeding it with oils, preventing it from drying and fading. It'll make your adult self *so* proud.

A before and after of a wooden table where the polish was used to clean

This polish can be used on antiques, kitchen cabinets, dining tables, doors, and basically anything that's wood! Also doesn't contain any silicone or linseed oil.

Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs that jumped up and scratched places, we also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were, and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic. This stuff was like a magic eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand-new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." —Kris

Get it from Amazon for $12.47.

    2. A silicone sink strainer and stopper because the last thing we want is a clogged sink from all the little bits of food that you rinse off your plates. It may seem like barely any food, but it collects quickly!

person using silicone sink strainer and stopper and it says "twist knob to engage stopper, twist again to drain sink"

These are stain resistant and dishwasher safe.

Promising review: "After trying multiple sink strainers, I'm thrilled to report that the OXO strainer is the clear winner. I was sick and tired of the strainer that would move itself into the sink stopper position, and make grungy water backup while I was rinsing stuff, making me have to put my hands in there to try to get the post turned the correct way to let the water flow down the drain. Frustrating. This strainer is simply a strainer. It grabs big pieces of whatever you're putting in the sink, and it's easy to pick the strainer up and bang it against the garbage can to discharge the trapped stuff into the trash. I've had zero problems with food getting stuck to the strainer. Even melted cheese falls right off. My last strainer was the wire type, and I spent a good amount of time cleaning and cursing that thing because everything seemed to stick and meld itself to the wire. I've had no problems with this strainer. It stays clean looking, and is easy to clean. I just empty it, wipe it off with a soapy paper towel, rinse, and replace. Magic!" —housewench

Get it from Amazon for $9.95.

    3. A pet stain and odor remover, so when Indiana Bones gets a little too excited that you just got home and decides to pee all over your brand new rug on cleaning day, it's not completely annoying. Plus, how can you stay mad at a dog named Indiana Bones? You can't.

Promising review: "This stuff works sooooo well. I have tried many other brands of pet stain remover, and this one is definitely the best. I have two indoor cats with hairball issues; they are often spitting up hairballs, or stomach acid only before or after the passing of the hairball. (Sorry for the TMI.) Of course, they only want to do this on the carpet and rugs. This stain remover effectively removes the bodily fluid, hairball, etc., with a nice, fresh minty scent and no sticky residue. I keep a bottle upstairs and downstairs so I don't have to go hunting for it during those 2 a.m. hairball vomiting sessions (because, of course, that's the only time they want to throw up)." —Heather Coburn-Schill

Get it from Amazon for $16.97+ (available in 32 oz. or one gallon and three scents).

    4. A container of The Pink Stuff cleaning paste that'll clean practically anything. No really. Marks on the walls? Sure. Dirty stove? Obviously! Grimy bathtub? Duh. The Pink Stuff has your back.,

    BTW, it's vegan!

Promising review: "Since moving into this apartment I have gradually come to hate this tub because of the water stains I have tried every product on the market including crazy things from the internet like Coca-Cola, vinegar you name it..this stuff with a couple of swipes/scrubs and a toothbrush for the textured areas completely cleaned my tub in a way that I can only tell you excited me to the core of my being. All I can tell you is buy it and I wish you the best!" —Michelle

Get it from Amazon for $9.79.

    5. A Roomba robot vacuum so you can watch your house get cleaned without even having to get up from the couch. Technology can be so great, huh?

It has a smart navigation system that will map your house in neat rows using tracking sensors to vacuum hardwood and carpet. It *also* has reactive sensor technology so it will know where it can and cannot reach. This basically means, no more getting annoyingly stuck in places, ruining the rest of your cleaning flow.

Promising review: "I have to sweep at least once per day to keep the house in a state where I don't have to wear socks to not have dirty feet. NOW I don't have to ask anyone else OR do it myself - I can simply ask Alexa to send the Roomba to clean - or rely on my overnight cleaning sessions to do the job for me. I'm legitimately BLOWN AWAY by how deeply the Roomba cleaned. The first time I set it out was on the box charge — it cleaned for three hours, trying to learn my large living/dining/kitchen area. It ended up getting stuck on a piece of plastic from my daughter's birthday party — and 'shutting down' in the middle of the floor. When I got home, I was able to read the error messages and see exactly what caused the issue. I fixed it, let her charge, and then set her out again. She kept learning my floor and by the 3rd time, she cleaned the whole thing in 55 minutes. If you're on the fence and you're tired of sweeping up after kids that somehow bring in every leaf from the yard, GET one and leave your broom in the closet where it belongs. I'm anxious to see how it does over time - and how quickly I'll need to replace filters/brushes, etc." —Shannon Fulton

Get it from Amazon for $348.59.

    6. Microfiber cloths because sometimes regular old dusters just kick all of the dust around the house or onto the floor. These will grip every particle *and* you can use it for so many things, like drying your dishes, wiping your counters, or even drying your pet off!

Four textured microfiber cloths in pink, light orange, green, and grey
    Wilshire Goods Shop / Etsy

Wilshire Goods Shop is a small business based out of Los Angeles, California that sells adorable aprons and dish cloths for the kitchen.

Promising review: "Very nice fabric and very absorbent. Accurately described and shipping was fast. The colors are pretty and worthy on my countertop." —Angel

Get a set of four from Wilshire Goods Shop on Etsy for $4.25.

    7. A Chom-Chom roller to gather up pet hair from basically anywhere in your home. No really. Couches, clothes, bedding, cat towers, rugs — you name it. The best part? It has a little compartment that stores the fur for easy cleaning!

Promising review: "I have had many different pet hair rollers and this beats everything hands-down. The compartment that traps the hair is genius. With many pet hair removal tools the hair sort of flies in the air a little, you have handfuls, or have to clean the brush on something....this baby traps the fur in a little compartment that is easy to empty. I sent links to this product to lots of my friends who are owned by cats and told them it will be life-changing." —DLB

Get it from Amazon for $24.95.

    8. Grooming gloves because aren't we tired of our cats releasing their pesky little furs all over the place every time they turn their heads? I'm looking at you, Norman.

The grooming gloves with fur on it

Promising review: "These are awesome!! They get the hair off our dogs while giving them a nice scratch at the same time! They are really sturdy and washable, whoever designed these is a genius! We love them!!" —Tim and Amy Jo

Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (available in three colors).

    9. A pet hair removal broom to make your jaw drop when you see just how much hair your little rascal has been shedding into the grasps of your rug's fibers. There is a rake side and a squeegee side, which both effectively do the deed.

A pile of fur from a carpet next to a pet hair removal broom

Promising review: "This is a genius invention with a rubbery broom that catches everything! Today I didn't think the floor really needed to be swept, but the FURemover proved me wrong. I ended up with a big tumbleweed of dog hair and my hair and who knows what else? The handle telescopes far longer than I need (I'm 5'8") but the telescoping comes in handy when sweeping under the couch or other out-of-the-way places. This is a game-changer if you have a lot of fur or hair in your home. You must try this, I am so happy with this purchase!" —Frannie

Get it from Amazon for $12.44.

    10. A bottle of Resolve carpet cleaner that I'm convinced is actually just a bottle of magic. This has been able to get even the oldest stains out of our carpets. I will die on my Resolve hill.

A before and after reviewer photo of a rug with a stain on it

Promising review: "This literally destroyed a stain a half dozen YEARS old, that I thought was going to be there until the carpet was replaced." —Brandon T.

Get it from Amazon for $7.26.

    11. An affordable hand vac to clean up the areas around your house that would be really bizarre to do with your vacuum, like the couch, at tower, and even your curtains!

hand using a hand vac on a fur-covered cat tree

Has multi-layer filtration and a 16' power cord. Includes two specially designed nozzles for pulling out dirt on surfaces like stairs, upholstery, and automobiles.

Promising review: "Normally I don't take the time to review things, I forget or I'm just lazy. I have a German shepherd who sheds badly, despite giving her pills to help with shedding and brushing her weekly. I love my dog but I hate how much hair there is everywhere and a traditional vacuum can only do so much. I absolutely love the power this vacuum has. It actually gets most of the hair up. It can get a little heavy if you're using it for a long period of time. I mostly use it to get hair off my comforter and off my furniture. It works on practically anything. For the price you honestly can't beat this. If you're looking for something to cut down on the amount of hair in your home on furniture, rugs, bed sheets, etc., then this is honestly worth it." —Janice Kellogg

Get it from Amazon for $36.99.

    12. A dishwashing spray for anyone who leaves their dirty dishes in the sink for waay too long, causing everything to get seriously crusty. Instead of tiring your arm trying to scrub, this bad boy will make it to where you just have to SWIPE off the gunk and rinse instead!

person spraying the spray onto the contents of a kitchen sink with dirty dishes

Promising review: "This is my favorite! It makes me want to do dishes! Really powerful against tough baked on grease. I also use in bathroom and countertops and sink. It smells so good and it makes me happy smelling it when I have to clean." —Target customer

Get it from Target for $4.99 (and get a refill bottle for $3.99).

The after of the same tub, which is sparkling white

Promising review: "I bought this brush a long time ago and it sat unused. Last week, I finally pulled it out to clean the floor of a very dirty fiberglass bathtub. What a great little tool! A job that easily would have taken me a half hour with a regular brush and Comet, took about five minutes and with no smelly harsh chemicals. I am really kicking myself for not trying it months ago. Now, I'm planning to buy one for each of my kids for Christmas." —xxxxx111000

Get it from Amazon for $14.95+ (available in six colors).

Comes with 19 refills, but you can also Subscribe & Save to get the dry cloths and the wet cloths to your door every month!

Promising review: "I have always wanted one of these but could never find them in the stores. It sure does a great job on bamboo flooring! I only use the dry clothes. I no longer have to always drag the vacuum out to non-roll brush vacuuming the floors or use the duster-style mops. The dusters stay put until you are ready to pull it off and pitch in the garbage. They also seem to do a better job cleaning and get off what the vacuum and dusters miss. Very satisfied." —Oceans
