    While In Belgium, Try Your Best Not To Get A Heartattack

    Way too few Belgians are able to perform CPR. So if you have a sensitive heart, don't go on a trip to Belgium.

    People who have a heartattack in Belgium have less then 1 chance out of 10 to survive. The reason these chances are so low is because too few Belgians are able to perform CPR, or recognize the symptoms of a heartattack.

    When CPR is performed immediately, the chance of survival is multiplied by 3.

    This information came from the Federal Public Service Health and the Belgian Reanimationcounsil on the occasion of the first 'Restart a Heart day'.
