One of these pairs may just *sneak* their way into your closet.
BuzzFeed senior writer Elena Garcia loves her Superga sneakers:
"The design is classic and goes with everything. My go-to is a fresh white pair but they come in nearly every color you could think of and so many fun prints. They have an unlined cotton upper that's comfy and flexible, the footbed is perfectly cushioned, the soles are rubber and offer plenty of traction, and the platform gives you an extra inch of height."

Promising review: "Quite possibly the best sneaker purchase I've made in years!!! The fit, the look, the comfortability, the support are seriously amazing. I immediately ordered two more pairs of the same model: black/white and the gray/white, which should be arriving today. The navy/white pair is next on my horizon." —Cory J. Chryst

Promising review: "Love these shoes! I saw them in store at UO but they didn't have my size. Obviously I turned to Amazon because what doesn’t this site sell, and lo-and-behold, y’all had it. I try to pair these with almost every outfit because they’re so comfy and stylish! Recently went to Philly, where I had to walk everywhere because we didn't rent a car and these were only pair of shoes I brought (I travel light). These didn’t cramp up my feet at all as I walked over seven hours daily over the course of five days. Definitely recommend!" —Alli J

BuzzFeed editor Marquaysa Battle is *all* about these sneakers:
"I own a black pair of these and they're seriously one of the comfiest friggin' sneakers I've ever worn (the other is a pair of New Balance) in my 29 years of life. The 'Cloudfoam' insole really does make it feel like your feet are walking on clouds. I thought that feeling might go away after several months of wear but the sneakers remain fluffy and relaxing. The sneakers were so comfortable that I started wearing them to the gym, to work, and even matching them with cute dresses for going-out looks. You'll probably want to order two pairs of these babies so you don't wear out a single pair after you fall in love. I bought my mom a pair as well."

My dad has these and is a BIG fan (he's typically hard to impress). He's not a hiking guy but he is always working on projects around the house while wearing these. He likes that they are extra grippy on the bottom and feels super secure lugging stuff around while wearing them.
Promising review: "I purchased the shoes about four months ago as I wanted to give an accurate as possible review. The sizing seems spot on. I wear a 12 and ordered my size — the shoes fit perfectly. The Moab 2 is very comfortable with breathable material as to minimize sweating. I'm a Park Ranger and I wear the shoes every time I hike or when I'm not wearing my patrol boots. The Moabs are durable and hold up well. I would not hesitate to purchase another pair and definitely recommend them without hesitation." —Jayson

I also have these sneakers and am a big fan. I'm slowly getting back into working out and these have been great to have on-hand. They don't feel or look clunky, making them a great shoe for wearing to exercise and then for the rest of the day.
Promising review: "I have heel spurs and have had plantar fasciitis. Also have a torn foot tendon and hip problems. I was hoping these shoes might be an answer so I could enjoy walking again. And YES...they are. So super comfortable and stylish too. Thank you. I'm glad I took a chance and ordered them. Great customer service too." —Harpgal

I mean, they're Converse! I've had quite a few of these over the years and the remain some of my favorite sneakers. I covered my original black pair in Taylor Swift lyrics ("Picture to Burn" was an ANTHEM for me in 2009, OK!) and have worn in many other pairs since. They're comfortable, look cute with jeans and dresses alike, and IMO are the perfect casual sneaker.
Promising review: "I LOVE Chucks. I have about 8 or 9 pairs. They are my go to shoe. I wear them with everything., skirts, dresses, jeans...... I like them because they hold up well and are comfy right out of the box. I also have so knock offs and the are so uncomfortable with thin soles or they are HOT and not in a good way (Sweaty feet). Chucks have those little air holes in the side and believe me it makes a big difference. On my feet all day and when I wear my Chucks...no sore feet (or smelly feet)!" —Whovian

MM.LaFleur is a woman-owned business that focuses on making functional anad fashionable clothing. BuzzFeed editorBek O'Connell has and loves these sneakers! She said:
"OK I'm a big fan of the M.M.LaFleur x Koio collab. You get the high quality Koio sneakers in the absolutely adorable M.M.LaFleur shades. I love these sneakers because they look super polished and don't show a lot of wear and tear. I wore these in the pouring rain and they still look brand new. These cuties were hand crafted in Italy and made with full-grain leather. They also have a removable insole and a nice little gold monogram detail on the side. Like most fancy leather sneaks, they take some time to break in, but it's worth it!"
Get them from MM.LaFleur for $268 (available in women's sizes 6–10).

I've been a longtime fan of both Keds and Rifle Paper so whenever they come out with a collaboration it's a no-brainer purchase for me. I love the Triple Kick style (I have them in white) because they give me a little extra height but don't feel too clunky to walk around in all day long. They'll look cute with dresses, skirts, jeans, and leggings! Not into florals? Check out Keds x Kate Spade's collab as well for other fun springtime options.

I recently snagged a pair of these in the Sea Salt/Yellow style and am *obsessed* At first I naively thought I was supposed to untie the laces — please learn from my errors and note that the laces actually do go around the bottom fo the shoe! They're a fun play on the street style trend and will surely become a favorite in my sneaker line-up.
Promising review: "I normally don't like wearing tennis shoes all day because my feet tend to sweat in them, then swell when I take them off. These are the best brand of tennis shoes I have ever owned. They feel wonderful on my arthritic feet, and my feet breathe in them all day, so they never sweat and don't swell up when I take them off. I bought a second pair in white. Well worth the money. All my other tennis shoes are going to Goodwill." —SBoo

Promising review: "I bought these a week ago and have worn them just about every day. They are so comfortable and not quite as heavy of a shoe as the trainers, which I also have a pair of. I have a narrow foot and these fit like a glove but not too snug. I have done a lot of walking in these shoes and no issues, so comfortable!" —Tmell14

Without access to the gym last year I had to push myself to learn to run while safely social distancing (which is NOT an easy feat). I’ve had multiple foot injuries (I’m very accident prone) so choosing the right sneaker has been a challenge. I’ve tried out manyyyy different pairs but the only ones that have truly won over my heart are the Allbirds Dashers. I got them in a stunning mint green color and get tons of compliments on them. They’re super supportive, lightweight, and have held up great against months of running outdoors. Honestly, I’m already looking into buying a second pair!
Get them from Allbirds for $125 (available in men's sizes 8–14 and 16 styles, women's sizes 5–11 and 19 styles)
These are the most recent addition to my outdoor running/walking sneaker collection. I really like the cushioning in these babies and how shock absorbent the base of the shoe is. The bottoms are a bit rigid, so they make me feel a lot more sturdy when walking on wet ground. I didn't even need a break-in period! They were comfortable from the first time I laced-up.
Get them from Amazon: women's for $129.95 (available in sizes 5–13, medium and wide widths, and 20 styles), men's for $129.95 (available in men's sizes 7–15, medium, wide, and extra-wide widths, and 17 styles).

These are perfect for treadmill running or outdoor running. Light, but not too light, comfy, great traction. I keep these for running only, they didn't work well for workout videos at home on carpet." —mandy

BuzzFeed editor Abby Kass seriously put these shoes to the test:
"The first time I wore these shoes, I walked 16,000 steps in them. Yep, you read that correctly, 16,00 steps and not a single blister and no foot pain at the end of the day. Soon after that day, these shoes became my new go-to's. They have a classic look to them and really do go with everything. I even took them on vacation with me to Paris, and I wore them almost every day. They didn't look like tourist shoes at all, and I never had any pain while wearing them. The price point is a bit steep on them, but for the quality, I really do think they are worth it."
Get them from Greats for $149 (available in sizes 6–10 and14 styles).
Promising review: "This winter, I’ve been jogging while barefoot inside my house, but noticed I was having ankle pain at night. I didn’t want to wear typical sneakers indoors, so I thought I’d look for 'barefoot' sneakers to only wear indoors. I’ve never worn minimalist sneakers before and wasn’t sure what to expect; but happily, were comfortable right out of the box! I immediately jogged for 30 minutes with them, and they stayed comfortable throughout — no chafing or blisters or discomfort. Most importantly, I have had no post-running ankle pain! They offer enough cushioning and support to make a difference. They even have a little arch support, which I appreciate. It’s a surprisingly great little sneaker at such a reasonable price point." —RC

These sneakers are BuzzFeed writer Taylor Steele's go-to:
"I've had these sneakers for about a month and can't believe I was walking around wearing anything else. I can tell the cushioning in these bad boys absorbs impact and reduces pressure because I am very prone to shin splints, but have yet to experience that while sporting these on my daily half-hour power-walks."
Get them from Amazon for $27+ (available in women's sizes 6.5–11, regular and wide widths, and 15 styles).
CAT is my brother-in-law's all-time favorite brand. He works for a water company and can often be found working in his own backyard on an array of projects — these are the only shoes that have held up to how hard he is on his feet.
Promising review: "I'm on my feet a lot. I need a shoe with support and a sole that can hit a concrete floor 15,000 steps a day. I love the chunky sole on this shoe. I'm short, so it helps the height deficit! But the sole really takes a hammering and keeps the stress off the rest of my body. I ordered a size 7.5 wide which is usually what I wear. I was able to fit my custom orthotics comfortably into the shoe. I expect they will last longer than the year I get out of other high priced sneakers." —Susan Murray
Get them from Amazon for $84+ (available in men's sizes 4–11, women's sizes 6–11 and four styles).
BuzzFeed editor Abby Kass is a big fan of these slip-ons:
"These are some of my favorite shoes in my closet. They're such a classic style and really go with everything — plus the fold in the back is actually extremely useful. Once, I took a workout class and was getting ready in the dressing room after. I was able to keep my shoes on, but also get ready and not worry about my feet touching the floor (because who knows what was on there). Plus, I can just slip them on when I'm in a rush or just too lazy to put them on all the way without fear of ruining them. They show no signs of going out of style. I'm a fan."
Get them from Amazon for $55.96+ (available in women's sizes 5–12 and 38 styles).
Promising review: "I love these. My husband kept calling them orthopedic old ladies shoes but I didn’t care!! They’re so cute!! I made him do a photo shoot of me wearing them just because. They remind me of Spice Girls platform shoes and that’s like exactly why I got them — totally living up my '90s girl dreams! I’ve already received so many compliments!! And no I haven’t rolled my ankles nor do I think these will let it happen (the sole seems really well footed)" —Shawna

BuzzFeed writer Harper Hendrickson has nothing but good things to say about their Suavs sneakers:
"I’ve been having a difficult time with shoes lately, due to my feet growing and shoe size changing a little since starting HRT. I recently tried Suavs high-top shoes in Timber, hoping that they would be stretchy enough to fit me till I get through this awkward shoe phase! I was not disappointed, these fit true to size, they are nice and stretchy, and they are some of the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn. I liked them way more than I anticipated I would, so much so that I didn’t take them off for a week when I first got them! My favorite thing about Suavs are how easy they are to slip on and off, yet they are durable enough to get me through hectic days and long walks. The few minutes I save in the morning slipping these on when I’m stressed and in a rush really makes a difference. I also love that these are made from recycled water bottles!"
