Smooth animation, great graphics — if you think of it, only Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. on Wii U have had 1080p graphics for Mario...so this is a real treat! A huge single player campaign that will take you 20-30 hours to complete. The online I tried on launch day was smooth without any lag. A must own for any video game fan!"—EFYevan

I only wish it was a tad thicker in vertical height so that when I put my AC adapter in the top compartment, it won't bulge out. Otherwise, I can't complain for the price and look. I don't think this is waterproof, but then again I don't think I would be carrying it in the rain either... or will I..." —swt caroline

Promising review: "What can I say! WHAT CAN I SAY! First the graphics and attention to detail in this game is AMAZING. Just when you think you have found every chest and picked up every ounce of coin in an area, somehow you discover another little hidden crack with some loot in it on your way out. The art design is stunning. One of the reasons I was so excited about this game is the focus on the Norse legends. Marvel has provided a very limited and skewed version of Thor and Odin. This game really did its research and the environments are rich with colors and honestly things I've never seen before in a video game.

The nine realms are brought to life in a very grand and jaw-dropping way. The story and little interactions between father and son throughout really pulls you into their relationship. There are times when the son acts like a typical kid where he asks if we are there yet, he constantly longs for his dead mother; sometimes Kratos wants to comfort his son but doesn't know how so he stops just shy of putting a reassuring hand on his son's shoulder. Not to mention the combat is challenging. You will get into fights where you are out-powered and will need to come back later once you've upgraded your gear more. The one long-shot camera for the whole game really does make a difference. It makes you feel as if you are there and when you are just destroying an enemy with your bare hands, you see all that gore and detail.

I have never owned a PlayStation. Never played any of the God of Wars. I purchased my new PS4 just for this game and so far, I have to say it's worth it." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "These glasses are perfect for working on the computer, videos games and even watching movies! I love the pale pink color, they’re very feminine and fit my face just like I’d hoped. I recommend them for anyone that spends time on phones or computers" —Kelly Stagg

Get them from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in seven styles).

If you're lucky enough, the gamer in your life might even hit pause to say "thanks!" for the awesome gifts. Don't hold your breath, though.
