A fifth-grade student wrote this hilarious letter telling a boy who was coming on too strong to lay off. It was so perfect it immediately went viral.
The letter was posted on Twitter by Denny Jones, a dance instructor based in New York, after her friend, a teacher, shared it with her.
Jones told BuzzFeed News that the two children are in separate fifth-grade classes. Her friend, who preferred not to give her name, was handed the letter by the boy after he received it.
The boy explained that he liked his fellow pupil because she was the “smartest girl” he knew.
Sadly, the young lady didn't feel the same. And, in the letter, she kindly informs her admirer several times that she is not to be played with.
After laying down the law, she warns him that she'll have to get back up if he doesn't respect her boundaries.
Jones' tweet has now been shared over 7,000 times. "I obviously thought the letter was adorable and it gave me a chuckle. I thought it would only stay in my circle... and wasn't expecting it to become this big," she told BuzzFeed News.
