"The Bachelor" Season 25 Predictions From A Devoted Member Of Bachelor Nation

Only one Lauren this season?!

The 25th (!!) season of The Bachelor premiered last night, and we are already going full steam ahead with the dashing Matt James.

I've never applied for The Bachelor, but...I still wish I had been picked for this season.

This season looks full of the usual ups and downs (and, of course, hilarious tweets), and I can't wait to go on this ~journey~ with Matt.

Looks like there'll be a lot of crying, as usual. And I'm not just talking about me.

As a massive Bachelor fan*, I decided to make my own predictions about where each of the ladies vying for Matt's heart will end up, as well as his final four.

*I actually started on The Bachelorette — my first ever Bachelor franchise series was Ashley Hebert's season. Which means, unfortunately, my first Bachelor was Ben Flajnik.

Now, I have not looked at any spoilers — these predictions are purely off the first episode and season trailer. Let's begin with my predictions!

ABC

I don't know if these are right, but I can predict a 100% chance of this season "being unlike anything we've seen before."

Eliminated in the next couple of weeks: Kaili, Marylynn, Sydney, Lauren, Alana, Illeana, and Magi

I gotta be honest, I literally do not remember half of these girls. I know Marylynn was freaking out about going home, so I have a feeling that'll happen soon. Magi was super cool, but I didn't see her in the trailer, so I am using my super sleuthing skills to say she goes home early. I do respect Kaili's entrance (though I wish Matt had chosen the other dress), but I didn't get much of a handle on her other than that, TBH.

Eliminated around weeks 3–4: Anna, Mari, Victoria, Kit, MJ, and Khaylah

Sleuthing hat on: We see Kit, Pieper, Victoria, Serena C, Jessenia, Anna, and MJ in the promo scene where the new girl(s) come in, so I'm going to guess they make it to around Week 3. I have a feeling they'll add the new girl(s) and have Heather appear pretty early because it's a bunch of juicy drama to entice us off the bat. But I've got a feeling Mr. James (as he's new to the franchise) will get sick of drama pretty quickly, and eliminate people like Kit and Victoria. Khaylah doesn't deserve to be eliminated here — she's awesome — but she's not in the trailer.

Side note: Does anyone feel like Kit looks like the twins?

Eliminated around week 5: Jessenia, Pieper, Serena C.

I'm taking a gamble with these ladies (don't let me down!!) because they don't seem to be involved with a lot of drama (well, Serena is, but I have a feeling she's on the right side of it). But again, I don't think Matt wants drama, and they seem like the sweet and down-to-earth kind of girls who go far in this franchise...but not all the way. I have a slight hunch that Jessenia will be that girl you forgot was there until she's eliminated way after you thought she was gone.

Eliminated going into hometowns: Chelsea, Abigail, Serena P., and Katie

Maybe it's the short hair, but I'm getting Bekah Martinez vibes from Chelsea. She seems really fun, and I think she'll go pretty far, but in the end will be more of a BFF to the girls than a GF to Matt. Abigail is wonderful, but I'm seeing a "devastating breakup you don't expect" situation for her. Serena seemed to be riding a horse in the trailer (a strong sign), and as for Katie...i have a feeling that once the big drama causers are gone, she's going to be the more nefarious, sneaky bad guy. But Matt will see through her before hometowns.

Alright — that leaves the final four! Here is my prediction: Sarah, Kristin, Rachael, and Bri!

Bri was the first person out of the limo, and she made an impression right away. They had a great convo and I was a little surprised she didn't get the first impression rose. For that reason alone, she's first to go of the final 4!

Eliminated after fantasy suites: Kristin

I gotta be honest, I do not remember Kristin from the episode. I don't think she was shown talking to Matt. HOWEVER (and maybe this is cheating), she's allll over the trailer, and seems to be Matt's type (there's a lot of ~sexy~ stuff going on). She's at least making it to fantasy suites IMO!

Runner-up: Rachael

Rachael is a crier. You can just tell. She cries in the first episode, people! The criers have been going far in recent seasons, and Matt and Rachael had a great convo at the cocktail party — she's also in the trailer a lot.

And finally...my prediction for the winner is...drum roll please...

Sarah!

Sarah just seems like the classic Bachelor winner (blonde balayage hair, looks like she'd be a nurse with a tragic backstory, very basic name, slightly bland personality), and we see her having a good one-on-one in the promo. He was the first person she spoke to at the cocktail party and it felt like she made an impression! Plus, she's crying alone in the promo (with a close-up!), which is always a good sign.
