I think that your favorite Darcy depends solely on your first encounter with him. It's like when they say you never forget your first Doctor in Doctor Who. You never forget your first Darcy and mine was Matthew MacFadyen. Swoon.

Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. It's my go-to book when I have relationship problems. It makes me nostalgic in all the right ways. But my favorite thing about the book is that during the span of Mrs. Dalloway's day, you remember the importance of independence alongside her.
