The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air really was a '90s icon — it had the jokes, it had the life lessons, it had it all.

So I thought: If it were to be given a 21st-century reboot, who would play our faves?

Will Smith: Justice Smith

Why: You might be thinking, Isn't Jaden the obvious choice for this role? but anyone who's seen Detective Pikachu knows that Justice has all the cheeky charm to play the Fresh Prince himself.

Uncle Phil: Will Smith

Why: We watched Will mature on our screens — he's gone from a cheeky teen to a father with an entire empire. There'd be no one better than Will to step into Uncle Phil's wise old shoes.

Aunt Viv: Regina Hall

Why: Regina's got that perfect balance between stern and fun. Can't you imagine her showing everyone up at dance class, Aunt Viv style?

Carlton Banks: Tyler James Williams

Why: Tyler's face screams "captain of the debate team," and those shoulders are just asking to have a sweater draped over them.

Hilary Banks: Ryan Destiny

Why: Ryan's got the beauty, the style, and the perfect amount of diva to be the most spoiled member of the Banks family. That glove-and-shirtdress combo even looks like a Hilary original.

Ashley Banks: Marsai Martin

Why: Ash was all about the attitude, so Black-ish fans know this one speaks for itself.

Geoffrey Butler: Billy Porter
