These 37 Products Are Living Rent-Free In My Brain, They're That Good

My love for the heated eye massager is not a phase; it's a lifestyle.

    1. water bottle cup holder adapter that'll enlarge your car's cup holder so your 40-ounce bottle can ride securely alongside you, 'cause nothing ruins a car ride faster than when your emotional support drink won't fit.

Reviewer's 32 oz water bottle in their cup holder adapter in their car
Reviewer's expandable cup holder adaptor installed in their car

Its adjustable base extends to fit the size of your current cup holder, and then has another base on top for your drink to fit into. It fits 32-ounce and 40-ounce bottles.

I've been wanting one of these for a while, and finally, after one too many times trying to balance my coffee on top of the cup holder...and then on top of my dashboard...only for it to fall pitifully to the ground, I bit the bullet. It's been worth every penny. My mug is secure, safe, and easily in arms reach, and it even has a little opening for my mug's handle. I love this thing, and I'm already budgeting for another one so my coffee and water can ride side-by-side.

Promising review: "I bought this for my boyfriend who has a 40-ounce HydroFlask that doesn’t fit his cup holder, so it just rolls around his floorboards and he usually forgets it in the car. This is such an intelligent design, well-crafted and thoughtful. The twist-to-adjust base is genius. It also has a notch for cups with handles. Amazingly well thought out. It fits perfectly, it’s sturdy, and I couldn’t be happier about my purchase. Definitely worth it and solves the issue with a perfect design." —Sharon

I swear by these pill cases for keeping my meds secure while on the go. The cases are sturdy and, for pill holders, surprisingly fashionable — their discreet, minimalist design makes me feel confident carrying them around without feeling self conscious. Each compartment holds a *lot* of pills, so I feel prepared for basically anything with this in my bag. One of my best purchases this year.

Promising review: "I love, love, love, this little pill holder! It’s a great size, super discreet, and holds a lot! I have one in my purse with things like Tums, Advil, Tylenol, etc. and one on my nightstand with my daily meds. You could also use these for traveling with jewelry or other little things. Promising review: "I am allergic to cats so here I am with two cats who shed a ton. Their hair is covering all the furniture. I have special pet covers on my bed to protect my comforter but I hate having to sleep under it since my cats sleep on my bed. I have tried so many cat hair remover brushes, gloves, sponges that never worked. I was ready to shave the cats and call it a day. Then along comes the ChomChom brush. It not only has the lint roller but a bar that collects the hair. I love the little hairball container of the roller so I don't have to spend time cleaning off the lint brush. I can't believe this product works! I have an off-white couch and I didn't realize how much hair there was. After I used it, my couch looked lighter in color. I got my comforter cleaned off in minutes. It's a simple and inexpensive way to cure your pet hair woes." —Dondi

    4. A pack of 40 acne patches to easily treat and heal blemishes using hydrocolloid *plus* tea tree oil and calendula to soothe irritated skin and reduce redness. They're extra thin without sacrificing any effectiveness, so you can confidently pop them on for work, school, and more and let them get to work.

I recently tried Avarelle pimple patches, because *yes* I love a good hydrocolloid patch like little else. I wasn't sure whether these would be any different from the patches I already had from another brand, but I was so wrong. The Avarelle patches drew out gunk more effectively from my blemishes and gently sped up the healing process (I think because of the calendula, tea tree, and cica). My sensitive, reactive skin loves this stuff. I also could tell immediately that the patches were in fact thinner and more transparent than others I've had, which especially given how well they work is quite a feat. Will be a repurchase for me for sure.

Promising review: "YES! TikTok made me buy them and they 100% do what they should. I just pop them on before bed and by morning the blemish is ready to go. Will be ordering more" —Sky k.

This product is designed for use in outdoor or garage trash bins and dumpsters. Do not use in areas where people or pets will be for an extended period of time.

Promising review: "It’s what everyone says; perfect. I live on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi — hot, humid, and plenty of moisture in the air. My garage, where my trash cans are kept, opens to a large wooded area. Lots of flies. Regardless of washing them out weekly, using bags with ties, or making sure to rinse meat packages and such, my trash cans were fly heaven and laden with maggots around trash time. Well, I stuck these where everyone said to, underneath the lid. In less than TWO days there were no flies or maggots. NONE!! Now, you might open the lid and have one flying around, but he won’t last long. Seriously, this stuff works better than described." —ztennyson

Promising review: "I am a makeup artist. This mascara outperforms nearly every other mascara I have used, and I am 55 and have purchased and used an innumerable amount of drugstore and specialty mascaras. All the higher priced ones are SUPPOSED to do what this very quiet, low marketed very black mascara does; coats every lash, thickens, and lengthens every time and for this price?!?! Sssshhh, don't tell anyone, lol." —Laura Price

    13. A cult-fave Denman hairbrush with evenly spaced bristles to define and shape curls so you won't have to spend an hour plopping and scrunching — all for your curls to still look flat and misshapen. It'll also spare your arm from getting sore while styling, which is forever a win.

Reviewer showing half of her hair curled with brush and half of her hair air dried without brush
Reviewer hand next to white brush on table

I finally treated myself to a Denman brush over the holidays, mainly because I'd finally had enough of trying different "Curly Girl Method" styling strategies that my low-porosity, dense 2c–3a hair would simply laugh at and instead dry into a ball of frizz. The first time I used the Denman, I remember distinctly thinking, "Oh, this is what all the hype's about." It easily defined my curls with its spaced-out bristles, accentuating the spirals and making them pop. It's not a detangler, so you'll still want a regular comb or brush to detangle post-shower, but it's the best low-key styling step possible, IMO.

Promising review: "In my younger teen years I had CURLY hair, but as I hit my 20s and started highlighting my hair, somewhere along the way the curls became a very limp wavy frizz. Thanks to TikTok I thought I should give this a try to retrain my curls. And while I’m only a month or so in, this brush definitely puts a clean spiral wave back into my hair making it more shapely than the alternative frizz I had grown accustomed to." —The Belfis

    14. A shaved ice machine to pump out hot weather snow cones ON DEMAND, just like your childhood self always dreamed of. Reviewers recommend flavoring your cones with everything from syrup and soda to hot sauce and frozen drink mixes — frozen margs, anyone??

Just be warned that you may become the most popular person in the neighborhood once word gets out.

Promising review: "When I bought it, I only hoped it would make the shaved ice I love without crunchy bits in it. I did not expect it to do so, but bought it anyhow for at least small ice. It turns out, it really does make great shaved ice that is not crunchy. The ice is delightfully like snow. I have started making 'snacks' of shaved ice with it and freezing a second bowl of it for later. Each little round block of ice makes about two bowls full of light, fluffy shaved ice. I have been eating the ice plain, because I just like plain ice most of the time, but I plan to go add some of the flavorings to my cart soon to try those out too. I love this little machine." —Brandywine

You can try a sampler of shaved ice syrup flavors also available on Amazon!

    15. A unique Uproot hair removal broom with a metal rake-like edge to remove the deeply rooted pet hair from your carpet and other large surface areas that are too ingrained for your vacuum to reach.

It's handle adjusts up to 60" high so you can customize it to you.

I live in a carpeted home with two *gorgeous* cats, but between them and my own hair, our carpets were starting to look pretty dingy. Our vacuum was helping do some damage control, but I was worried the carpet might have hair trapped deep down in its fibers. Bad news first: I was right, but the good news was that one round with this rake-like broom, and the carpets look practically new again. It brought up multiple fists-worth of hair, dust, and debris — so much hair that tbh it was a little shocking lol. It did take a little elbow grease and felt like a bit of an arm workout, but I didn't really mind since the results were such a relief (and I've been wanting to exercise a little more anyway). I'm so happy I invested in this, and it's worth the money for anyone with carpets who's ready for a deep cleaning solution that isn't just slapping a bandage on the problem.

Promising review: "I don't typically write product reviews, but I felt compelled to sing the praises of this one, because WOW did it make a huge difference! I have three dogs and three cats, so as you can imagine, things get a little hairy. After using it once, my carpets look brand new. I was astonished by how much hair came out of the carpets, since we vacuum every day and even have a Roomba. But this gets down where the vacuums can't reach." —Leslie

Reviewer's mug, showing the ergonomic pocket

Promising review: "This is like sending your friend a hug every time they use it. I bought this to replace wifey's favorite mug that broke. It's just right. It feels so good when you hold it. The colors are warm and shade beautifully into each other, giving a pleasing subtle grading effect. Washing it is a bit weird, as the cup is also shaped differently inside, but it's easy to wash up since there are no hidden areas. This is her new favorite mug, hit it out of the park with its beautiful design. Bit pricey, but y'know, when it's perfect you accept that." —kevin

    18. A heated eye massage, which will relax you so completely that you might fall asleep before it's done (like I have countless times). Its combination of heat and gentle massage helps soothe stress, headaches, eye strain, and even insomnia. I literally never shut up about how much I love this thing (sorry, not sorry), but I truly believe this gadget improves my quality of life.

It sports five different massage settings, a 15-minute timer, and Bluetooth capabilities.

I bought this two years ago to help with dry eyes and migraines, and it is one of my favorite purchases maybe of all time. It has helped me with my eyes and my headaches, but also with so much more — it helps me relax when I'm stressed or anxious, and puts me to sleep like a baby. I make sure I have this with me if I'm sleeping away from my apartment because I love it so much. It's also easy to clean with an alcohol wipe, or even with face wash. I was initially hesitant to buy this because it seemed a little pricey, but I'm SO happy I did. At this point, I think it's worth way more than I paid for it, if only because I literally don't know what I'd do without it. BTW, it does play automatic music when you begin the massage, but it's easy to turn off if you prefer (I always skip the music).

Reviewer's coffee on their black mug warmer
Reviewer's coffee mug sitting on their blue mug warmer

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes has this and loves it: "After seeing this coffee warmer all over BuzzFeed Shopping, I finally decided to buy one for myself. Based on all the reviews, I was pretty confident I'd soon be kicking myself for not getting it sooner, and that proved to be true: This thing not only looks good, but works great for keeping my coffee warm all day long (because yes, I'm one of those people who'll sip on coffee until 5 p.m., all right!!). I was kind of worried it'd be too small for some of my larger mugs, but the center plate is bigger than expected and accommodated every mug in my (very eclectic) collection perfectly. I can confirm that flat-bottomed mugs are the best option for using with this warmer as they do stay hotter, but it still keeps my concave-bottom mugs warm enough for my taste. Also, I looove how sleek the white version looks on my white desk, and the auto-shutoff function is a nice safety feature as an absent-minded person."

Promising review: "He is my natural-born son and I would cry hot tears of sorrow if anything were to ever happen to him. Ok, so histrionics aside, I really really love this guy. This has been one of the best purchases I have made this year (if not ever) and I truly do think of it as an investment in myself and my mental health. I am lazy and hate vacuuming. But this guy? This little guy will just lightly whizz around the house over and over again, sometimes lightly bumping into things, sometimes jetting off into another room...just slowly but surely gathering up all the random dust, hair and other detritus that you don't even know about and might not be able to get to with a traditional vacuum. 23. A decluttering food wrap organizer with a cutting mechanism so you don't have to struggle with dispensing your various foils and rolls anymore, wasting a bunch of product in the process.

As usual with things that would make my life easier that I've refused to buy, I was wrong to wait so long — as soon as I got this, it was clear: This is awesome. Before, all my parchment rolls, tin foil, and and plastic wraps were piled on top of each other and crammed in a drawer. Now that they've all been ~decanted~ into this, my space is so much tidier and easier to maneuver. Best of all, I don't have to struggle with my plastic wrap constantly jamming, making me waste a bunch of it trying to evenly dispense it. All my rolls now consistently dispense effortlessly and easily, and I'm no longer dreading having to cut foil! It's everything. PS: The cutting mechanism has a safety feature on it, so you won't have to worry about nicking your fingers!

    24. A portable TheraGun massage gun so you can massage your tense, sore body and actually get some relief — it penetrates 60% deeper into muscles than a typical vibration device. Just saying, it's also one of Oprah's favorite things

Reviewer using the Theragun mini on their leg while at the beach
Reviewer using the Theragun mini on their shoulder

I recently had the *unparalleled* pleasure of using the Theragun for the first time. I initially was skeptical (like usual lol) that it would make much of a difference. I had a lot of shoulder pain from tight, clenched muscles that seemed to be getting worse and worse, and made it difficult to even sleep. When I turned it on, it felt a little strange at first — like a high-speed percussion that seemed to be flattening my muscles, but weirdly didn't really hurt. I spent a few minutes on each of my shoulders, and turned the Theragun off to discover that my previously clenched muscles felt completely liquid and at-ease. My pain was gone and my shoulders felt knot-free like I was a kid again. Of course, more than the knots, my real issue is storing tension in my shoulders, so it's not a permanent solution — a couple of months since then, I can feel the muscles knotting in my shoulders again. But! I feel sure and relieved that another Theragun session will clear that out again. I don't believe in miracles but this is a miracle. The definition of splurge-worthy.

Promising review: "I love this notebook. It was gifted to me and I immediately bought it as a gift for two other people. It is so easy to use and has every feature you need! Plus, I think we can all agree this is *major* improvement over using tweezers, bobby pins, or (god forbid) pins to separate your lashes.

The metal on the comb is anti-rust and easy to clean, and comes with a protective cover for maximum hygiene.

Promising review: "You can never go wrong with extra-long charging cables! My wife and I use these for charging our phones on our nightstands so we can use the phones in bed without over stretching shorter cables. The braided cables are nice and the red connectors add a little pop of color. We’ve had other brands of cables fall apart at the connector in a short amount of time but these seem pretty solid." —Mr. D

    28. Tide stain-removing pen small enough to keep in your bag while you're on the go, because you never know when you might spill coffee or food on your shirt. They may be little, but trust me, they pack a HUGE punch — I swear by these myself.

Promising review: "Liquid unicorn magic for the clumsy. These were a lifesaver. I was walking to the bus and decided it was a great decision to drink coffee while walking. Like a scene from an infomercial, I spilled coffee all over my white shirt. Yes, the classic coffee on the white shirt. Luckily I had one of these in my bag (I put one in each of my most-used purses in anticipation of my clumsiness). I went into a store bathroom and quickly scrubbed the Tide To-Go on my shirt. All of the coffee blobs went away and once the awkward wet splotches dried up, my shirt was perfectly white again. You've got yourself a big fan, Tide." —NAD

    29. A truly awesome end table with charging outlets that'll take care of all your needs like a good piece of furniture should. It has two shelves worth of storage space, a fabric organizer with five pockets for all your goods, andddd four outlets inside the top shelf so you'll never be without easy charging for your devices. 💅

    the black side table
Reviewer's nightstand with the top opened up, with words

It can be used as an end table, side table, or a nightstand!

This is basically the nightstand of my dreams. For context, I've held off for a long time on furniture with charging capabilities. I figured plain-old side tables would be more than satisfactory since I already had outlets in the wall and I didn't really need anything fancy, right? One week into owning this outlet-equipped table, and I can say that I was emphatically wrong. TBH I'd probably be more embarrassed about my huge about-face if I didn't love this thing so damn much. No more hanging off my bed like a bat to keep my phone plugged into an outlet across the room, and STILL having the charger unplug from the outlet because it's been pulled too taut. No more having to choose which device I can use from my bed while charging, because the outlet would only accommodate one at a time. And, no more dealing with the eyesore of overlapping cables criss-crossing on my nightstand. This wonder nightstand contains grooves on its sides so the top of the table can close fully without pinching the cables, hiding the sight of messy cords (and tucking away any private items you want to keep close by but not in sight).

There's tons of room on the top and bottom shelves to keep all your bedside items close, a delight for me since I like my bedside tables to hold a LOT so I have everything I need to chill before bed and in case I need ANYTHING in the middle of the night, lol. The fabric organizer is also an unexpectedly nice touch (no more misplacing my remote). Basically, I'm obsessed with this thing and I don't even want to think about a time when I didn't have it. I also think this is an amazing deal given that end tables half this size with no outlets often cost way more than this does. I'm already thinking about getting another one.

    30. A stainless-steel beer layering tool for the coolest summer party trick you've seen in awhile. It lets you literally layer your beers on top of each other, so you can pour your dark beer on top of your pale ale and enjoy it as a deliciously un-mixed mixed drink.

The contraption is shaped like a turtle!

Promising review: "Does what it says! The trick is to pour the Blue Moon so it has a nice head on it and then pour the Guinness over the turtle slowly so it filters through the head. Can do the same thing with a spoon, but this little guy makes it into quite the show. 😁 Impress your friends and family today! 🍻" —Stacy Thomlison

My former colleague Britt Ross says, "I got this blender over the summer, and wow, as someone who had firmly decided I was an 'I don't need a blender' person, I quickly changed my mind after the first use. For starters, it's not as large as those super industrial-strength blenders, and it's so aesthetically pleasing that I have it out on my counter at all times. Plus, it couldn't be easier to use — just fill the bowl with your ingredients, pulse, and in a matter of ~moments~ you'll have a perfectly uniform blend of whatever you're trying to blitz. I first tried it out on a smoothie made with frozen bananas and peaches (see it in action on TikTok here!), and it pulverized the icy fruit like a champ. Best of all? It's a total breeze to clean, which, if I'm being honest, was probably the biggest factor in my having waited so long to add a blender to my kitchen arsenal. I can't recommend it enough, 15/10, no notes." For more deets, check out BuzzFeed's full Beast blender review!

You just have to preheat, dump in your ingredients, and that's literally it.

All I can say is I finally caved and got an air fryer, and it has changed my life. Trust me, it's worth every penny.

Promising review: "Hands-down best air fryer, and I will tell you why. I’m 59, old-school and like to keep it simple but I also enjoy having the latest and greatest.  This is ridiculously easy to use, so easy to clean and the quality is top notch. The controls could not be easier. You will be surprised just how little oil you need. Cleanup is a breeze: Pull the basket, remove the rack and wash. It’s not going to be like deep frying but honestly I’m from the South, I grew up on fried foods in the cast iron skillet and fried chicken in this thing comes in at a very close second. I cooked red potatoes and a pork tenderloin and it was better than in my cast-iron skillet. And seriously! Check out this price! What’s not to love about this thing! Nothing. Absolutely nothing! Get yourself an air fryer cookbook to really get a lot of use out of this. Healthier than frying, great price, easy to clean. This is the one you want." —Brenda Miller

    34. Some dentist-recommended Crest whitening strips for removing up to 20 years of stains if you feel self-conscious about smiling because of your yellow teeth. With no-slip grip and advanced seal technology that molds the strip comfortably to your teeth, these truly are the comfiest and most effective strips on the market.

Reviewer at day 0 and day 22 showing the strips noticeably whitened their yellow teeth
Reviewer's Crest whitening strips laid out in front of the product box

The pack comes with 20 30-minute treatments, and two hourlong treatments. The strips are also enamel-safe!

Folks, these are not the gloppy whitening strips of your childhood that slid all around your mouth and had you spitting out globs of product every few minutes so you wouldn't swallow it. I know this because I grew up using those exact strips to treat my hereditarily, naturally-kinda-yellow teeth. I eventually swore off whitening strips because they were so awful and uncomfortable. Ten years later, I decided to give at-home whitening another try since I now drink, like, a million cups of coffee a day, which obviously did nothing to help my yellow teeth lol. Long story short, I was FLOORED when I tried these strips. They may or may not be the best beauty development of the 21st century. These things stay put with literally zero gloppy residue, no spitting or readjusting required. They work so well, I'm almost resentful ~kids these days~ won't experience how absurd at-home whiteners used to be lol. Anyway, they're so comfortable that the 30 minutes or an hour you have them on zips by, so that by the time you're through, your teeth look whiter with virtually zero effort on your part. Can I nominate this for some sort of award??

BTW: If your teeth feel sensitive while you're using the strips (mine did), just take a break for a few days before starting them again.

    35. luminous lavender pink blush inspired by the colors of the Santa Monica sunset and made with skin-loving ingredients like green tea and aloe vera. Creamy and pigmented yet buildable, its shades will make you look — and feel — like you were kissed by the sun, perfect for a dreamy, easy summer look.

I feel a little silly saying this, but the moment I first tried this blush on, it immediately became my favorite blush. It's the whole package — beautifully glow-y, pigmented and creamy, yet so buildable that applying it is basically impossible to mess up. But also, this shade!!! A beautiful blend of lavender and pink that looks like it popped out of a sunrise. I wish I could wear it all the time tbh, like including to bed?? And hey, I'm an adult so maybe I just WILL.

    36. A splurge-worthy Litter Robot here to make your life approximately one thousand times easier, while ensuring your beloved kitty (or kitties) always have a clean area to do their business. This high-tech gadget cleans your cat's litter for you, collecting the waste in a bag at the bottom of the bot after your lovey's finished and leaving the litter area full of only fresh litter.

Jenae owns this and loves it: "When my mom first told me about this $500 automatic litter box she'd read about somewhere, my eyes just about popped out of my head thinking about spending that much on a thing that my cats poop in. But after thinking about it some more, I realized it's actually a pretty reasonable investment since I plan on owning cats forever but shamefully hate cleaning out their litter boxes as often as they really should be.

"I've been using the Litter Robot myself for over a year now, and I'm pretty sure both me and my two cats are way happier for it. After a cat is done using it, the Litter Robot waits a set amount of time until the cat's presence is no longer detected, then begins to rotate, collecting the waste into a bag at the bottom while retaining the clean litter in the barrel. I usually don't detect a smell from it afterward, though once the bag starts to get really full, you might get a subtle reminder that you need to take it out. I only have to take out that bag about once a week, and a flashing light will let you know when it's full.

"Initially, the cats were a little spooked by the sound of the Litter Robot during a cycle, and for the first few weeks, they would just sit and stare at it, as if it would get up and run at them if they took their eyes off it. At this point, though, they've completely adjusted and accepted it as their way of life, making my life a heck of a lot easier while ensuring they always have a clean bed of litter. It's a pricey purchase, to be sure, but if cleaning out the litter box daily or even every other day is hard for you and you'd rather not think about it much at all, I say the Litter Robot is worth it. One thing to note: It's quite large, so make sure you have a dedicated space for it."

Get it from Litter Robot for $549 (available in white or gray).

Promising review: "These had the best reviews competitively for price/value/quality. My dad has been colorblind his entire life. We got these for him for Father's Day and he LOVES them. He has been having the best time wearing them everywhere! These are definitely most effective outside in his opinion, but do work for certain things he's looking at inside. He is VERY excited to take a trip up to the Northeast this fall and see real 'fall colors' that 'everyone has always been talking about' (his words lol). Definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend." —Katie
