John Legend Defended Chrissy Teigen After Megyn Kelly Said She Was Not “Relevant”

    And that's that.

Don't mess with Chrissy Teigen because John Legend has her back.

The pair glammed up and attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner last weekend, but unfortunately, there was some drama that followed — which sucks, because this tweet from Chrissy sounds like she was looking forward to it.

The day after the event, Megyn Kelly went on her show and, for some reason, ranted about Chrissy for a full minute. “You know who they think is relevant?” she asked. “Chrissy Teigen.”

Megyn continued, "That's who they invited as their big star. We've gone from George Clooney to Chrissy Teigen, who showed up there like she was literally going to the coronation."

And for some odd reason, it seemed like Megyn just hated Chrissy's choice of evening wear, like it was a personal offense. She then proceeded to rant about Chrissy's dress, claiming she could see her underwear. Ever so maturely, Megyn rhymed, "I see London, I see France, I see Chrissy's underpants," before continuing, "Nobody shows underpants at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Ok, Chrissy?"

To top it off, Megyn insulted the folks who helped with the train on Chrissy’s dress, labeling them as “minions” and “serfs.” She then insulted the event, calling it "fake" and "stupid."

When asked about Megyn’s comments later in the week, John said, “Megyn, you know, she likes attention. She needs it after she got fired from Fox.”

He then claimed, "She pissed all the conservatives off when she asked Trump a tough question. Now, she's trying to figure out a way to win him back."

"She's desperate," he proclaimed. When prompted to speak on it more, he hit back, "She can just shut up." Then, in defense of Chrissy being called an elitist, he shared a sweet sentiment. "She's very kind, very loving, very down to earth."

However, he did give his honest opinion on whether or not it was normal to be helped to carry a dress. "No," he answered.

The dress in question, below. (Gorgeous, IMO.)
