_Our Missing Hearts_ by Celeste Ng

This beautifully illustrated graphic novel resonated so deep within my soul that I’m not ashamed to say I cried while reading it. It’s a touching, tender, emotional journey, and I’m positive many others will relate. _Everything Is OK_ follows one woman’s struggle with depression and anxiety, ambition and failure of fear, and feelings of hopelessness and loss. After everything we as individuals have been through in the last few years, it’s a stunning reminder that we’re not alone in our feelings, that there is a way forward, and that asking for help is not a sign of weakness. At it’s core, it’s a stunning story of what it means to be a complex human being.

_Everything Is OK by_ Debbie Tung

I love Whelan’s audiobook narration so much. It’s always perfect, stunning, no notes. So when I learned of her latest novel, I knew I had to read it _immediately_ — and I was not disappointed. Whelan’s contemporary romance has the perfect balance of swooniness and heart. Sewanee Chester has made a career being an audiobook narrator, which allows her to take care of her ailing grandmother. The one genre Sewanee doesn’t touch? Romance. So when news arrives in Sewanee’s inbox that the late June French, a world-renowned romance writer, wants her and Brock McKnight, the romance industry’s beloved mystery voice, to team up on her final novel, it’s an offer Sewanee can’t refuse. Mainly because it pays A LOT — enough for her to drudge up her old pseudonym. And from behind their screens, Sewanee and Brock begin to forge an emotional connection. As the author puts it, it’s a story about work, and it’s a story about love — but it is so much more than that. It’s an evocative, heart-wrenching, passionate novel about creation and storytelling, collaboration and friendship, failure and grief, and a coming-of-age tale about two best friends: Sadie and Sam. The two met in the hospital in middle school, bonded over their love for video games, and were reunited in college, where, shortly after, they decide to program and create a video game of their own. In the years that follow (the book begins in the late ’80s and spans the late 2000s), the three will struggle with ambition and success, friendship fallouts and heartache, and defining what this career trajectory means for them. It’s beautifully told and unforgettable. _Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow_ by Gabrielle Zevin

Pan’s highly anticipated sophomore novel is a spectacular modern take on Chinese mythology meets _Romeo and Juliet._ Told in multiple POVs, this novel has two star players: Hunter Yee and Luna Chang, whose families strongly dislike each other. But Luna and Hunter are drawn to each other in a mysterious, almost magical way. Even more mysterious and magical is a strange crack spreading throughout their town of Fairbridge, and both Luna and Hunter must navigate family secrets before everything falls apart.

_An Arrow to the Moon_ by Emily X.R. Pan

The author of _The Guest List_ returns with another thriller/mystery told from multiple POVs set in Paris. Foley opens up with a twentysomething named Jess who has hit rock bottom and needs a place to stay — that place being with her brother Ben. But when she shows up to his Paris apartment, Ben isn’t there. And it looks as if there has been signs of a struggle. While we slowly uncover what Jess knows, we also get into the heads of Ben’s neighbors…even the ones who don’t exactly like him as a person. If you enjoy a solid mystery, you won’t want to miss this one.

_The Paris Apartment_ by Lucy Foley

May’s thrilling debut, told in alternate POVs, follows three Anglo-Nigerian best friends and a fourth woman who infiltrates their friend group. Ronke, Boo, Simi, and newcomer Isobel seem to be becoming close friends. They might be struggling with their own personal problems, but at least they have each other. However, despite her charismatic exterior, Isobel’s presence beings to rock the group, and close-knit friendships begin to crack.
