"Stranger Things 4" Dropped A Teaser Trailer And The Internet Is Convinced There Are Easter Eggs

Will Season 4 actually drop this year?!

Hello friends and fellow fans of Stranger Things. Today I read about the new Stranger Things 4 teaser and HOLY SMOKES I got so freakin' excited. But I noticed a little something in this picture in particular:

I zoomed in a little closer and noticed that the clock looks like it might read as either midnight, or 12:30. To which I gasped and thought, could this be an Easter Egg for the release date? 12/30?????

I then doodled around online for a little bit to see what others were theorizing about this trailer, and it turns out my guess wasn't too far-fetched! Reddit user threedotsguy also thought the clock may symbolize that we could see new episodes in December.

And ANOTHER Reddit user (DrDaree) thought the same thing. I mean, they took long enough shooting Season 3. What if they shot Season 3 and 4 TOGETHER?

But then I found this theory by pinetreesandsunsets, who zoomed in even MORE to theorize that the clock might read 11:55, and that 11 could stand for November...or just Eleven!

I DON'T KNOW BUT I NEED ANSWERS IMMEDIATELY.

Others, like Reddit user ScoopsAhoy_Mysteria, noticed another detail in the trailer that could relate to Hopper.

Someone on Twitter thought that the clock was merely a symbol for going back in time, especially since Stranger Things 3 referenced Back to the Future.

my theory about the clock on the stranger things pfp, a thread: the clock symbolizes going back in time. i think someone with powers will join the party, go back in time and save hopper. it’s also why i think they referenced back to the future a lot, (continued below)

Another Reddit user TheRed24 pointed out that the tone chimes in the teaser trailer sounds like the alien five tones from Close Encounters Of the Third Kind. Could it be another hint?!

And finally, user Atecno noticed the phrasing, "We're not in Hawkins anymore" paid homage to another famous movie: The Wizard of Oz.

    What does it mean????????

I don't know what any of this means, but I hope we at LEAST get to see this guy again soon!!!

Do you think you have a theory that's better than these? Tell us in the comments!
