EXCUSE ME, HOCUS POCUS FANS, I am here to tell you Disney has released a novelized version of our favorite Halloween movie, complete with a sequel that is QUEEEEER!
According to AutoStraddle, the sequel features a new character named Poppy — who happens to be the daughter of Allison and Max — and a popular black girl named Isabella.
Poppy and Isabella get their own love story throughout this sequel, which also contains the same sinister vibe as the original movie. Here's the official synopsis from Amazon:
Twenty-five years later, Max and Allison's seventeen-year-old daughter, Poppy, finds herself face-to-face with the Sanderson sisters in all their sinister glory. When Halloween celebrations don't quite go as planned, it's a race against time as Poppy and her friends fight to save her family and all of Salem from the witches' latest death-defying scheme.
