I've seen every episode of Friends approximately one time, so you could say I'm somewhat of an expert* on the show.

So I've come up with a grading system to better understand how friend-y these Friends friends really are.

Monica

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

- Has more vacuums than friends

- Is still mad about the water ring you left on her credenza

- Would cook you a nice rice pilaf for dinner after your date stands you up

- Has nice smelling linens

- Grade: A-

Phoebe

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

- Would make fun of your new haircut and frame it as a joke

- Definitely hates your job, whatever your job is

- Would go shopping for kaftans with you

- Might have murdered someone in her past/will do it again for you

- Grade: C

Ross

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

- Mean boy

- Likes bones too much

- Wears coats that are too big/would be knocking drinks off tables all the time

- Would probably invite you to a lecture on ferns and want to talk about it after

- Grade: D+

Rachel

- Borrows your favorite sweater without asking

- Brings a single box of Entenmann's cookies to your potluck

- Will ask people for their number for you

- Enthusiastic board game partner

- Grade: B

Joey

- A good hugger

- Let's you eat directly off his counter but why would you want to do that

- Hits on your friends

- Never splits cabs
