Taylor Swift released the video for "Out of the Woods" on New Year's Eve, and it's probably her most dramatic video yet.
The track is the latest release from 1989, and the video gives the strongest hint yet that both it and the album is about her relationship with Harry Styles.
But, unlike other releases, this one appears to suggest that she has moved on once and for all – and is ready for everyone else to as well.
First up, let's just acknolwedge the fact that it was released on New Year's Eve – the third anniversary of Taylor and Harry's midnight kiss in Times Square.
And also let's quickly acknowledge that the song makes reference to an accident the pair had on a snowmobile, which led to a hospital visit and him needing stitches. And the fact that around this time, Harry was pictured with a bandaged chin.

Then there's the fact that, in the video, Taylor wears a V-neck, floaty blue dress.
This is significant because if we rewind to almost exactly three years ago, Taylor wore a very similar (if not the SAME) dress when she and Harry Styles broke up.
On New Year's Day 2013, the pair travelled to the British Virgin Islands for a holiday together. However, after an "almighty row," they split up – and a picture of a sad-looking Taylor leaving the island alone on a boat became the symbol of their breakup.
And it's a fact that many fans have picked up on.

Then we have the appearance of the paper airplanes necklace, which has been a recurring theme throughout the 1989 releases.
But the mention of the necklace could be taken literally, too – because back in 2012, Harry constantly wore a necklace depicting a paper airplane. And during their relationship, guess who was pictured wearing it?
Well, in the video, Taylor is shown wearing the necklace again (as she did in the video for "Style," before ripping it off).
There's also a lot of water imagery in this video.
This relates to the final song on 1989, "Clean".
But things get really interesting when you look at the callbacks to the video for "I Knew You Were Trouble".
"I Knew You Were Trouble" is the song most heavily associated with Harry Styles, not least because she directly quoted the song in a tweet just days after they broke up.
...'til you put me down.
The lyrics in "...Trouble" contain numerous references to being dropped and being left on the ground.
"Flew me to places I'd never been / 'Til you put me down / I knew you were trouble when you walked in / So shame on me now / Flew me to places I'd never been / Now I'm lying on the cold, hard ground."
And throughout the video for "Out of the Woods," Taylor drops to the ground in numerous scenarios.
And, most convincingly of all, the video for "Trouble" opens with a monologue, in which Taylor says: "I guess I just lost my balance. I think that the worst part of it all wasn’t losing him, it was losing me.”
The video for "Out of the Woods" closes with these words appearing slowly on the screen.
She used these words in the run-up to the release of 1989, and included them in a Tumblr post about the album's "hidden messages."
But the fact that the words link directly to the "Trouble" monologue suggests the song is about the same person. And what's more, saving the phrase for the end of the "Out of the Woods" video implies that only now has she come full circle and is ready to leave that relationship well and truly in the past.
And, for this reason, this video might just mark the end of the Harry Styles references, once and for all.
