North West Embarrassed Kim Kardashian By Telling JoJo Siwa What She'd Said About Her In Private

"I don't want her to ever feel like it's a work thing and she has to do it."

You might remember that back in March, North West β€” daughter of Kim and Kanye and icon of our times β€” made her YouTube debut in a video with her idol, JoJo Siwa.

The whole thing started after North and JoJo bonded over FaceTime, with the YouTube star then asking Kim whether her daughter wanted to make an appearance on her channel.

North just FaceTimed @itsjojosiwa and her life is made!!!!!! πŸŽ€πŸŽ€πŸŽ€ That was the cutest thing ever seeing North soooo excited! Especially when she saw her dog bowbow πŸŽ€πŸŽ€πŸŽ€

A couple weeks later, North went to JoJo's home, where the YouTuber babysat her. They hung out, got dressed up, danced, and made slime.

The whole thing was released to JoJo's 10 million subscribers. It has so far racked up 24 million views.

And Kim revealed on Twitter afterwards that the experience had been North's "dream of life".

However, Kim was extremely conflicted behind the scenes over whether to allow North to participate in the video at all.

In fact, during the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim revealed that she agonised over the decision and was concerned that North might be "overwhelmed" by the whole experience.

During a testimonial, Kim explained that she was worried by the prospect of North meeting her idol in front of a full YouTube camera crew.

Kim went on to tell the story of meeting J.Lo for the first time, revealing that she tripped and embarrassed herself. Kim said she was concerned North might have a similarly "traumatising" experience.

Kim then spoke to Kris Jenner about her concerns, explaining that she didn't want North to feel obligated to take part.

Kris then told Kim how she'd handled Kylie Jenner becoming famous at an early age, revealing that her daughter never saw being on camera as "work".

"I think you can create some boundaries and let her have fun," Kris went on. "You're going to make the right decisions instinctually. If she wants to go over to JoJo's house, let her go. You just can't take it so seriously."

And so Kim ultimately allowed North to live out her dream of starring in a YouTube video with JoJo. However, on the day of the shoot, North really dropped her mom in it.

Turning to JoJo, North said: "My mom says you scream a lot."

Mortified, Kim responded: "I did not say that! I said you need to scream a lot, like JoJo. You need to keep your volume up."

"She’s exposing you right now," JoJo laughed, telling Kim, "I think she works for TMZ."

And Kim even shared the clip on Twitter, writing that North had "really outed" her.
