Last Tuesday marked one year since news broke that Khloé Kardashian had ended her relationship with Tristan Thompson for good after he was accused of cheating on her with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.
Since then, there's been plenty of ups and downs between the pair, but one thing that's remained clear is their commitment to co-parenting their adorable daughter, True.
In fact, just two months after the cheating allegations broke, Khloé put her differences with Tristan aside to celebrate True's first birthday together.
And now, a year on from the cheating scandal, Khloé has opened up about co-parenting with Tristan.
In a new bonus scene shot during the last season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloé appeared on the Divorce Sucks podcast where she reflected on how her own parents' separation had influenced her co-parenting journey.
"I was about four or five when they divorced," Khloé said. "I always remember how amazing [they were.] Now that I've gone through it myself trying to coparent — they were so seamless with it."
"I never, ever heard my parents talk disrespectfully about the other one," she went on. "My parents were so good at not letting us feel whatever they were going through."
And Khloé revealed that, despite the fact their relationship didn't work out, she still wants Tristan to be involved in True's life.
"I know her dad is a great person," she said. "I know how much he loves and cares about her, so I want him to be there."
"To me, [True] feels energy and I'm a big believer of that. So I do everything in my power to not put any heavy energy around her," she added.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Khloé touched on her decision to invite Tristan to True's birthday party, despite emotions running high.
"I didn't [invite him] because I thought she was going to remember this first party," Khloé explained. "But there will be pitcures. I know she's going to want to look back at her childhood memories, and I want to give her the same thing."
