Anna Faris Opened Up About Her Relationship With Chris Pratt Now They're Divorced

    Back in January, Chris Pratt announced the happy news that he and his girlfriend of seven months, Katherine Schwarzenegger, were engaged.

    He shared the news on Instagram with this lovely photo of the pair showing off her ring, alongside a caption saying he was "thrilled" to be marrying Katherine.

    And one of the first people to congratulate the newly engaged couple was Chris's ex-wife, Anna Faris.

    She left a comment on Chris's Instagram post saying she was "so happy" for them.

    Well, Anna has now opened up in more detail about the engagement, revealing that Chris actually gave her a heads-up that he was going to propose.

    Speaking on the Divorce Sucks podcast, Anna said: "So, he was so sweet, as he always is. He called me like, 'So I'm going to ask Katherine to marry me. I just wanted to give you a heads-up.' And I was like, 'That's awesome!' I also told him that I was an ordained minister."

    Anna went on to say that she and Chris have worked hard to remain "respectful" towards each other since their split in 2017 following eight years of marriage.

    She explained: "Under all of these uncoupling circumstances, I think that we are so good and respectful towards each other, and I think there is so much kindness and love."

    And she concluded by revealing that she and Chris are working towards an "ultimate goal" where they can spend holidays and vacations together as a family with their 6-year-old son, Jack.

    She said: "I know we want to get to that ultimate goal, and I know it sounds lame and optimistic, but that's what I want. Our goal was to have group Thanksgiving dinners together. Grudge-holding is not something that Chris and I do. So, we wanted to make sure that Jack was happy, but that we were happy and supportive of each other and that we could have this fantasy idea of all spending Christmas together, vacations together."
