    1. A highly rated teardrop sponge that'll help your makeup look perfect for as long as the holy grail Beautyblender.

Promising review: "Cute, cheap, and works great to blend out foundation/concealer. It's not dense and expands when wet. It also washes easily, thank god, which I didn't think would be the case with my pale foundation on a black sponge. I only need to use normal Dove bar soap. I think I'll stick to this brand for Beautyblender dupes in the future. Their sponges work perfectly and are much prettier, (I'm not a bright fuschia kind of girl)." β€”Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon: Zenda Naturals sponge for $5.97 or Beautyblender for $19

    2. Or a two-pack of silicone sponges to help cut down on the amount of foundation or concealer that's sacrificed for the sake of a gorgeous finish.

Promising review: "Cannot rave enough about this product! I kept going back and forth for years, between the Beautyblender and a brush to apply foundation. The silicone sponge makes applying makeup so easy! My foundation goes on smoother, lighter, and with less usage. Would recommend this 100x over." β€”Deborah B

Get them from Amazon for $7.99.

    3. A two-pack of glass phone screen protectors you can easily DIY for less than a third of the cost of having someone apply one at the Apple store.,

This is the screen protector on my phone! And it is *solid*. It was incredibly easy to apply, too.

Promising review: "Amazing protection. My phone fell off my bike on a busy road and got ran over a few times. I was devastated because the phone looked destroyed and I just had the screen replaced. But luckily it was only the screen protector. And I had an extra one saved at home!" β€”Albert Chen

Get them from Amazon for $7.99.

    4. A Target candle dupe to use instead of that Anthropologie candle burning in every store (because you want your place to smell like that, but you aren't made of money).

Fellow BuzzFeeder Rachel Wilkerson Miller found this product dupe thanks to a friend and shared it with the world. Now I'm sharing it with you, too!

Get the Bella candle from Target for $10.99 and the Capri Blue volcano candle from Anthropologie for $21.

    5. A bamboo Royal Craft Wood cutting board with juice grooves and most of the bells and whistles that makes the sturdy OXO cutting board perfect for everyday tasks.

Promising review: "I didn't realize that there's a difference between cutting boards, so my wife (being ultra happy about this one) just educated me. This one is easier on knives than plastic. It's also eco-friendly because it's made out of bamboo. It turns out that size matters. If you cut tomatoes or juicy things, the juice doesn’t slide off the board, but the groove catches all of it. Having this size and the grooves reduces mess significantly. I also noticed that it's sturdier than other boards because it's bigger, thicker, and slightly heavier. My wife thinks it’s the best cutting board she’s ever had. I am surprised. Royal Craft Wood gets an A+ for this one." β€”Matt S

Get them from Amazon: Royal Craft Wood board for $19.97 or OXO Good Grips board for $59.99

    6. An AmazonBasics laptop sleeve to lend some extra cushion comparable (in silhouette) to an InCase classic neoprene sleeve.

Promising review: "I have a 13-inch Mac book and for two years I had an InCase sleeve. However, both zippers finally broke and I was ready for a new case. I was initially hesitant when I saw the cost (I paid $8.90 compared to $50), but am pleased with my purchase. The sleeve is sturdy and made of high-quality material β€” greater for bringing back and forth to school, and the zipper works well. The only difference is the AmazonBasics has one zipper, instead of two." β€”nikki

Get them from Amazon: AmazonBasics case for $10.49 (five colors) or InCase case for $29.95 (nine colors)

    7. A tube of Wet N Wild Catsuit Lipstick for delivering longlasting color similar to Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick.

Promising review: "I threw this in my cart in order to ship some add-on products. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything. I've used a wide variety of liquid lipsticks from the usual suspects (Kat Von D, Anastasia, Kylie, Stila, Tarte, etc.,) and this formula is probably the best I've tried. It's lightweight, not drying though it dries down completely, applies evenly, and the pigmentation is gorgeous. The applicator is even fantastic, I didn't need to clean up anything or use a lip brush." β€”Selina Kyle

Get the Wet N Wild from Amazon for $3.85 or Target for $2.99 (13 colors) and the Kat Von D from Sephora for $20.

    8. An InnoGear ultransonic diffuser to rival the essential oil-diffusing effect of the super sexy (but much more expensive) MUJI one.

Promising review: "This is a great diffuser. Gives off a steady stream of mist and works better than some of the more expensive diffusers I have bought. I love that it is easy to travel with as I am OK the go frequently for work. Fits in my car cup holder when I am not traveling." β€”Amazon Customer

Get the InnoGear diffuser from Amazon for $16.95 or the MUJI diffuser from MUJI for $69.50.

    9. A waterproof bluetooth AOMAIS speaker for clear sound nearly as impressive as the significantly pricier Bose SoundLink.

Promising review: "The sound is huge and clear. I use it for audiobooks and podcasts primarily, but also for big band and classical. It goes a long time between charges. Fits in jacket pocket easily. Without a doubt the best bluetooth speaker I've heard except for Bose (which is 10-15 times more $$$)." β€”M. E. Donnelly

Get them from Amazon: AOMAIS speaker for $19.99 or Bose speaker for $129

    10. An RTIC tumbler that'll keep liquids as hot or as frigid as you like, just as the cult-status Yeti does. And you can deck it out with all the stickers you want.,

My dad's friend recently gave him a Yeti and he nearly fell on the floor in shock. (Though I've heard him talk about Yetis several times.) So there's def that cult status, but the reviewers seem to think the RTIC stacks up.

Promising review: "Who needs a Yeti when you can have a RTIC?!? Pour a glass of iced tea, and it will still have ice in it at the end of the day; hot coffee will see be warm as well! I couldn’t ask for a better product!" β€”Terri Nelson

Get them from Amazon: RTIC tumbler for $7.99 or Yeti tumbler for $32.57

    11. A WorkPro 100-piece tool kit β€” it's a better budget-friendly home-improvement starter kit than the Stanley 65-piece one.

Promising review: "I bought this because I was moving into my first apartment alone, and I knew I'd need to assemble some furniture. This is a great set and it has saved me many times when the necessary tools weren't provided with the furniture!" β€”Nicole R.

Get them from Amazon: WorkPro kit for $27.99 or Stanley kit for $42.99

    12. An Oral-B rechargeable toothbrush with lean, mean cleaning power akin to a Philips Sonicare toothbrush.

Promising review: "Great toothbrush. Has more power than any of my previous electric toothbrushes. Have used a Sonicare for three years and it was just too weak. Teeth never felt clean near gums. The Sonicare turned off when what I thought I was applying low pressure. My wife tried it and also felt it was too weak. Another issue is that the Sonicare turns off for each quadrant brushed, which is aggravating. The Oral-B hesitates for each quadrant. We both now use the Oral-B and think this is so much better." β€”Harris

Get them from Amazon: Oral-B toothbrush for $39.97 or Philips Sonicare for $164

    13. A Ucanbe eyeshadow palette with a range of colors that'll add some sizzle to any look, much like the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette.

Promising review: "Just like the colors in Urban Decay. So far I love it. Fast delivery, too." β€”Tammy McKiness

Get the Ucanbe Molten Rock Heat palette for $10.99 or the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette from Sephora for $54.

    14. A KitchenIQ sharpener that'll handle dull kitchen knives for change when compared to the Chef's Choice sharpener.

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

I own this beaut and it's transformed my hand-me-down kitchen knives. Read my full review here.

Promising review: "This cheap knife sharpener is great. It works better than my $100+ Chef's Choice sharpener. The Chef's Choice worked great for the first year. After that, it wasn't worth much. I figure I can buy three of these for something that lasts more than one year. Great for stocking stuffers at Christmas." β€”Ruth M.

Get them from Amazon: KitchenIQ for $5.99 or Chef's Choice for $43.95

    15. A set of cloth diaper fasteners to turn you into a cloth diaper convert and finally ditch the disposables.

Promising review: "Snappis are amazing! I'm new to the cloth diapering world and wanted to try every style of diaper to see what I liked best for my baby. So I bought these to hold together my flour sack towels and they work perfect. They stay in place even when the it is soaked!! For the price and the quality you couldn't get any better than the Snappis. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in the more 'old school' style cloth diapering system." β€”victoria88

Get them from Amazon: 5-pack of Snappi fasteners for $14 and 10-pack of Gerber cloth diapers for $16.36

    16. An Aeropress that'll become your #1 caffeine bud with the versatility to use on camping trips, at the office, or just on your kitchen countertop β€” unlike a splurge-y Nespresso machine.

Promising review: "I bought this based on great reviews and weight. I thought I'd add it to my hiking bag. While it's easy, amazing, and light, it's rather big for that purpose. It does make some of the tastiest coffee though. I've had great results frothing milk and making myself a latte. I have a Nespresso machine and I think this makes just as good of coffee if you get quality beans and grind them fresh." β€”homeschoolmom3

Get them from Amazon: Aeropress for $29.95 or Nespresso machine for $174.30

    17. A Zinus mattress foundation to impress your back without blowing your meager budget on an IKEA bed frame.

I own this foundation and it was *incredibly* easy to set up! Several BuzzFeeders have it and brag about it all the time.

Promising review: "I had an IKEA bed that broke on me, so as a broke college student I needed something sturdy and inexpensive. When you get this bed it takes 15 minutes to assemble and that's it. My boyfriend was skeptical because it's two bases side by side and he was worried that if they move apart the mattress will cave in. So far that has not happened and it can definitely support some weight and movement of you know what I mean. This bed also comes with extra parts if you want to attach a headboard, which is awesome because it is a very plain frame. It also has ample room for under bed storage which is a plus. Overall I'm very happy with this gram it's simple, sturdy, and affordable" β€”Snow

Get them from Amazon: Zinus SmartBase for $56+ (eight sizes) or IKEA bed frame for $99.99 (full/double)

    18. A pair of London Fog boots that'll get you through all sorts of winter slush for less than a pair of L.L. Bean boots.

Promising review: "Cannot stress what a FANTASTIC boot this is.

The fit is perfect, the craftsmanship is flawless, and the comfort level is awesome -β€” just as described. I've always worn L.L.Bean duck boots in the past and now swear by London Fog. You will not be disappointed." β€”Adam Teague

Get the London Fog boots from Amazon for $39.98+ or the L.L. Bean boots for $129.

    19. A ThermoPro digital meat thermometer to serve up some tasty, perfectly cooked meals around the same temp as a LavaTools thermometer.

Promising review: "The tip nicely folds away during storage thereby protecting the user against an unintended jab in the hand when fumbling through a drawer full of kitchen implements and protects the device against breakage. Temperatures quickly register so your oven is only opened a short time. The availability to get readings in Centigrade or Fahrenheit makes the device easily usable regardless of your preference or that of the author of your cookbook." β€”Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon: ThermoPro for $10.19 or LavaTools for $49.99

    20. A Ninja blender that'll whirrrr its way into your heart and take the place of the buzzy Vitamix in your smoothie-loving heart.

Promising review: "I love my Ninja Blender. I've used it to make purees, pesto, smoothies, and more. The multi-blade helps blend throughout whatever you are making. It does just as good of a job as a Vitamix, in my opinion. This is such a great deal for a great product. Dishwasher-safe, too!" β€”Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon: Ninja for $77.50 or Vitamix for $299.95

    21. A Cuisinart stainless-steel cooking set to shine just as bright in your kitchen as an All-Clad cookware set.

Promising review: "Performs like the expensive All-Clad version for a great price. Because this is a sauce pan, not a deep fryer, fish skillet, stock pot or Dutch oven, I use it to make sauces and it is excellent in that role. Note that many of the less happy reviews are by people using it for everything from candle making to lead bullet casting to baking cookies and boiling whiskey malt. This pan, or any other clad, multi-metal, sandwiched saucer needs to be heated not too much and not too fast and kept centered over the heat. See that rim near the bottom? If flames lap up past that line, bad things happen. Meanwhile, if you make thick sauces with cream or sweeteners or butter, the gentle even heating and tightly fitted lid will make you smile. I make a scratch BBQ sauce featuring caramelized, minced onion, sorghum syrup, and red pepper that will make enemies forgive and forget. This pan is the perfect batch size to serve 6-8 people a great sauce. The whole line of Cuisinart sauce pans are a steal." β€”Al Nelson

Get them from Amazon: Cuisinart set for $67.99 or All-Clad set for $349.95+

    22. A Shark hand vac that's actually meant for pet owners, but still has the detail cleaning akin to a Dyson hand vac.

Promising review: "I almost didn't buy this because of my poor experience with earlier hand-held vacs, but this little sucker rocks! The 18V operation coupled with the powered pet attachment actually do a better job than a full sized vacuum getting pet hair off of upholstered furniture β€” yes, better than Dyson, Hoover, etc." β€”Michael Allen

Get them from Amazon: Shark for $47.99 or Dyson for $179.99

    23. An Instant Pot to stand in for one of seven kitchen appliances, one of which is a rice cooker, like a pricey Zojirushi one.

Serves as a rice cooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sautΓ©, yogurt maker, and warmer.

Promising review: "For the price, this kitchen marvel is an unbeatable cooking monster! You can chop cooking times down to a fraction of what traditional cooking requires, and the features of this machine are almost intimidating. As for the rice cooking feature, which was a big part of my motivation behind this purchase, it was refreshing to know that it uses a stainless steel bowl (refreshing after finding out that those $30 rice cookers have coatings that can come off onto your food (that has to be healthy, right?). Also interesting to note is that Zojirushi, a Japanese brand that specializes in super fancy rice cookers that start around $140 and go up to $440, has their top-of-the-line rice cooker as a pressure cooker and many reviewers claiming that pressure cooking is the best way to make the fluffiest rice. So while this unit doesn't have induction cooking, or the magical ability to count how many times or for how many minutes the lid has been open in order to determine how much heat is required to keep the rice at the ideal temperature, this unit is less than a fourth of the price, but still shares the same pressure-cooking feature as their best model. For people like me not sleeping on piles of money, that's not nothing!" β€”K. Malley

Get them from Amazon: Instant Pot for $49.99+ (three sizes) or Zojirushi rice cooker for $98.99

    24. A pair of Joules wellies that'll let you stomp around in puddles 'til you can shell out the cash for holy grail Hunters.,

Promising review: "These are fantastic shoes! I bought a pair of Hunter boots and then I got these, I love them so much better than the Hunter boots. Great color, and much more pliable in terms of wearability. I felt the Hunter boots were too thick and at times were a little bit annoying to wear because of the thickness and the fact that I am only 5'3". These boots, though tall, are great to muck around in because they are a bit thinner and the rubber is bendable. Also I love that I can tighten them so much more than I could with the Hunters. I really am excited for this boots." β€”M&R

Get them from Amazon: Joules welly boots for $18.99+ or Hunter boots for $76.99+
